hi all, Definitely there is something happening in irctc site. you cant book tickets online. three ways to avail Tatkal ticket. 1. Go to the nearest booking counter by 2 am and be the 1st or 2nd person in the que 2. book via agent who will charge extra 150 rupees per head. 3.Tip a railway booking ...clerk and give the form a day in advance so that he books it and then starts with other people in the que. this is illegal but this is what is happening in many counters .Railway authorities still claim that, they had deliberately reduced the server speed for first 30 mins to serve the people who wait in the queue. For booking , my other friend went at 3 am but still found 5 people already waiting and came back. unless railways come with a concrete strategy and unbiased plan never dream of booking tatkal train tickets in person or online.Read More
