I think, one fine day Eureka forbes personal read all the reviews then copy & paste the same content like ''its unfortunate, it will be rectified, etc'' then left the site, to satisfy their future buyers. Hmm... marketing tactics.

S... u may be right. The priests in Hindu Temple may not go in RollsRoyce... But, can u worship God without providing some amount?? Do they agree u to give 'Kungum' without giving atleast 'pichai kaasu' 2 Rupees??
yeah.. I c...an accept Some Muslims, Christian may also bargain God(s). But, those bargains, as far as I know, help poor people, like Ramzan. Here in our Hinduism, manythings have been told very well, regarding helping poor people. But, the concentration goes mostly on developing God, temple not poorers. These ppl think like 'If I conduct Samprokshanam for a temple, God will give me some wealth'. But, do they think like 'Makkal thondey, magesan thondu??'
Again I am telling... Just taking few dialogues(like, Rama..line...anil) dont enuf to prove Kamal's mentality. Yes... U can give me lot many eg. But, the point here is, whether any theme of his movie resembles this?? ie: against hinduism.??
And, Reg. Kamal is a copy cat... U know onething?? Thr r only around 30+ themes in this world. So, eventhou any 'Komban' make a film, thr must be some resemblence of some other film.
U sed 'Kamal critisizing only Hindu Gods'. If u take those comments delivered by Kamal were Criticisms, then i again want to say, 'As a Hindu, he could critisize only Hindu habits. He cant do it with Christians, or Muslims'. For u, its like criticism. But, for me and Kamal, it doesnt look like criticism. Its just one another way to 'thiruthifying' the society.
P.S: No intention to hurt u or all. If u find any, excuse me.

Again a well written revu. I accept Maddy's slang didnt help him a lot. ;-(
But, I was verymuch disappointed after reading ur revu... Got my point.?? I was expecting a scene by scene analysis from u, man. But, u disappointed me. U did just character analysis. Tats all. Eve...nthough the character analysis was good, I didnt expect that ONLY from one of the GREATEST writer of MS.
No need to hurt ur feelings. Just wanted to make a point.

This was the one played once Maddy n MeeraJasmine was in love. So, thru music, ARR explained wat was in Maddy's mind after shooting his brother. Moreover, this tune was used to combine the nxt scene. In the nxt scene, MeeraJasmine was travelling in Trian.
When TTE asked for Inba(Maddy), after hi...s name was mentioned in the ticket, Meera showed her anger to TTE. The TTE then showed his anger to the fellow traveller by saying 'Yen, vazhila nikkara??'. Surely, this is wat our every day incident. Everybody shows their anger to someother person, who is entirely not in picture for the main-cause.
And... one thing abt the camera... Camera have been used in the character's perspective. ie: While Maddy shot Surya in his part in Cinama, v can c only 2 bullets exactly, and the other one was with blurred image. But, in Surya's part v can c 3 of them correctly.

Statuitory Warning: Those who havnt seen AE/YUVA yet, pl dont read this mail. It may spoil the fun.
Thr r lot many scenes in AE to say 'Oh... This is MR movie'
MR skipped many scenes in a neat manner. I am going to write about some scenes which were missing, but need not necessary for ...a film, or atleast for MR film. ;-)
He didnt show the marriage b/w Maadhavan n MeeraJasmine. But, in the song SandaiKozhi u can c 'Thaali' in Meera's neck. Tat is also, an ordinary Manjal Kayiru. Not a one in Gold, according to Maddy's status.
While Surya came to c Esha in French class, he was speaking in French. ie: to say, how brilliant he was. Cud he avoid one scene, in which a professor told Principal 'Michael is Genious'?? MR already told this. So, why repeatance??
And this intellectual character helped him once he was shot. Remember,
He asked Sidharh 'Enga Adi pattu irukku?'.
Sidharth replied, 'Rib'la'.
'So, No bullet in Chest..na??. Then no problem.' Surya.
For this type of boldness, intellectual mind surely be one of a reason. ie: 'Wat wud happen, without asking my permission, even for my body??' like attitude.
Did u notice this?? All 3 heros expressed their views, thier characteristics to someone in the film. And the some one was always be their close relative, or the one whom they think he/she welll knows me. Surya told this to Meera. Surya told this to his Amma. Siddharth told this to his Appa.
When Maddy's Brother came back to home in one in 2nd half, his son was playing with a bus doll. He asked his father 'Appa, seekkiram vaa. Bus kilamba poguthu'. But, it came only for a few second. His father also not responding to him, despite of his tension. Yeah... Tension spoils Family Fun.

MR gives equal weightage to each charecter. But, I like the Maadhavan one verymuch. I am sure, All 3 have equal weightages. But, donno why I like Maadhavan. Then, among heroines.. In every MR movie, the heroine was very enchanting..na?? But here, since the load have been equally spreaded among 3, th...at enchanting, childish, lovable, attractive charecterization are some steps below than his ordinary heroines.
And, the most important characterisation is BharathiRaja. He was verymuch underplayed in a good manner. Sujatha verymuch used his 'sense of humour' for writing the dialogues of BharathiRaja, esp when his speech in the harbour. His 'Nakkal'(naughty?) and 'Porikkithanam'(Bloody?) were neatly handled. How a politician always looks like has been told in a neat new way. Definitely a new villain to Tamil Cinema.
For glamour, MR included 'Mirchi' Suchitra. But, thanks to MR. That 'loda loda' character was not allowed to speak even a single word in the film.
The only un-realistic think in the movie is... Students' power against Politician. I am sure, it wont happen, even if one or two Suryas are among us. Atleast I dont want to oppose politician. I want to LIVE in this bloody world. ;-) But, that is Cinema...na? So, we should tolarate that one. We cant take a film which is fully commercial and fully logical. There might be one or two logical 'athumeeralgal'.
Anyway, Aayitha Ezhuthu is a fully 'pakka' commercial film for common people. I cant rate it as MR's best of all time as KMI or Iruvar. But, surely its one of MR's best. There are many scenes for MR fans and for real movie lovers also. So, I cant classify the film as 'an action packed', 'a love story', 'a political movie', 'an ideal film', etc. The film comprises all of these. And that is ManiRatnam.

Thanx for ur comments. And, I dont think, if u wrote ur comments even without 'The Hindu's quote, I wouldnt accept it. Anyway, no probs.
For me, the two boys characters were irritating ones. The main point here is... If a pshycho char like those have been shown, then... thr should be some scenes to get our sympathy over those characters. Or atleast, u shud feel, those characters shudnt win in the game. In Aalavanthaan, the first thing was not thr. Tat was the reason of the flop of the film. And, both things were in the film Moodupani. Thr lay the success of that film. And, here??? But, the char Aalavanthaan was acceptable for me. But here, after seeing the film, I went for medical store only. (To get anacin) ;-)
Apart from these, Poongothai acted well in the 2nd half. But, tat didnt give justice for her overacting in the first half.
Karthik is Okay. He acted well in some places also. But, wat I am thinking is... He doesnt have the glamour for a hero.

I accept... Boys is technically a very gud film. But, wat I cant accept is the screenplay.
Always I appriciate Shankar to my friends as 'Hey.. c... he has lots of guts. Think... How tough to make an illogical (may be, impractical is the correct word??)film to be a ...hit' Tats wat happened in his 5 of his movies. But, here he portrayed an everyday events of Boys. So, thr shud be logic..na?? Do u think, some mentally healthy guy will run in MountRoad just for attracting her lover?? Do u think, it is possible to bring a brothal case to one's house in Chennai?? I think,... Namma naadu innum andha alavukku kettu pogalai.
I again say... If this film was taken by someother director, then thr wud be some acceptable thing. But, 4m the director of GentleMan, Mudhalvan nobody expected this.
S... I agree... He can do experiments. But, it shud be in the 'Nermaiyaana' way.
Padathoda theme song, Nermai'nnu paadittu, nermai'ey illaama padam edutha ennanga artham??

Mouthshut is not a place for such revus. Few days back, somebody posted a revu, just only for 'April fool Day'. I think, this type of things shud be avoided.
