Shopping Mall at TNagar. Review on General Tips on visiting a Shopping Mall

T.Nagar Shopping mall is good. You need experience and enjoy shopping at T.Nagar. You name it and you get it.

Ensure whether you are going to do a bulk shopping and allocate a complete day or atleast 6 hrs. Have a segregated shopping.

Jeweler or Clothing/textile or Vessels / miscellaneous. Have separate day for each of this. Traverse from Mambalam station - Ranganathan Street and end up with Pothys in Usman road.

For branded jewellary at optimum rate go to Saravana jewellary.The finish wont be that good but you can get what you give and can have a lame satisfaction that you purchased gold cheaper than anyone. The show room is also good with more designs and models.

If you don’t mind about cost go to Mustafa which has good designs but the finish and the make is good. In rathna stores they provide gifts for purchase above 2000 but there are no designs and is very small shop.

For optimum rate, designs one can go to Lalitha jewellary where customer care is really good. One sales person takes care of one customer and we need to move to one floor and they get all jewels we require. They provide beverages while shopping.

Don’t worry there are so many eatables like sugar cane juice, ice creams, snacks, fruits on the way you walk so you can consume that too. Fruits, vegetables, flowers, nighties, kid’s dresses, plastics, cosmetics, accessories at down to earth prices are displayed in the platforms. People who require at less price and not particular about quality can rely on this.

Dresses

Branded costly items with range wise are available in Saravana stores, Pothys and Chennai Silks. Designs and customer treatment is poor in saravana stores but cost is less. Pothys it is good and you have so many designs of any type of dresses stitched or unstitched, good lifts, hotel at the terrace, bit costly, good lifts, they accept debit cards without any service charge. The look and feel of shopping is also good.

In Ranganathan Street there are so many tailors who stitch your salwars or blouses in 30 mins or 45 mins in any design you require.

If you want to have sumptuous Tiffin saravana bhavan, geethanjali, balaji, ganesh bhavan are there. But go for lunch between 11.30 to 12 or after 3.30. There is a heavy crowd and you will be really frustrated on not getting a seat to have lunch . By 2 pm you will be exhausted and want to have atleast a plate of curd rice which you need to get it by waiting atleast 30-40 mins by traversing in the crowd and waiting for your turn. So plan accordingly.

So enjoy shopping. Plan, schedule pakka from the beginning of Ranganathan street till end of Usman road, pick and purchase the things. Never go on week ends or festivals or holidays and never take elders or kids with you. Plan for a complete day from 10 am to 6 pm and purchase to the core and perform an exhaustive shopping

Check for the Car parking, bus facility and train facility before going for shopping. The shops and jewellary marts which I referred are purely my experience and my personal thought and not marketing for any shop.  It need not necessarily be in synch with others opinion.
