I also had a similar issue and vehicle stops frequently after water wash/ rain
YAM dealer tried all sorts of things
analysis were
1) there is shorting from the last point where spark plugs are connecting to engine: Soln cello taped the area
2) the spark plug holder is gone: changed it thric...e
At last they kept the veicle for 3 days and found the culprit to a gone spark plug: never again the issue came backRead More

Go for diwcover. I have a Gladi RS for last 2 YRs.. and that bike is good (barring the mielage which hits close to 50 ).. Nice power and ride, but I hate the sund it makes .. But then when you get a 150 cc bike for lesser price.. why not go for it...(But then again its a Bajaj and long term relaibil...ity is an issueRead More

Woman in Managers
Aug 03, 2010 10:29 AM
One cant stereotype Mira,
i agree to the fact that in a corporate world, its the output that matters and not the time frame a eprson sit in office and work.
However I do not agree to the fact that a woman manager makes better manager and you cant just steoetype men sayign they take more breaks.... (when I look aroudn what I see is ladies spending time discussing on the dress and the shopping experience).
in a corporate world, its the survival of the best and more flexible. be is a man or a woman, if they cant match the copmpetetion,.. then they get hit...
I find male managers better as they are more flexible and understrabndable than stuborrn lady cops (managers)

Hi,
its a normal practice that the price to be paid is as per the time of delivery and not at the time of booking.
So dont feel cheated and have peace of mind.
yaa.. the dealers could have appraised you of this fact so that this confusion/ disastisfaction could have been avoided

Hi,
I have a gladi and the same issue of the bike getting shut off durign rains and when riding/ rpm is low. This went on for some time, but was later diagnosd to a short circuit from the place near to spark plug. I coudl very well see the arcs from the wire to the engine. The fule was getting pu...mped, but was wastted withput firing as there was no power suply to the plug
Fix: Change in adapter (basically the part that holds the spark plug)
issue: Yam Service centre dont have one in stock: So fixed using insulation tape. Power also increassed after that as there was no loss of unburnt fuel (I can feel the bike also revvign better with the same acc input, may be becuase of all fuel getting burnt)
please check this and see if the issue still persists.
I ran the vehicle with this issue for more than 6 months before figuring out this issue

I prefered the RS (blue color) as it has painted fairing. Anyway except for the stickering and the paint, there is no diff what soever (RS costs 500 Rs more than SS i thnk ).. So select anyone and U will not regret

I dont think this is a owner review as such. also judging a car just by the BHP is not the way to go.
Ford's are better known for the driveability in the city ..

sad to hear this.. I think this need to be brought to the notice of Fiat India head. I have seen this type of activity even with Hyundai.. I was fixing my maruti at a shady workshop and these Hyundai guys brought in the car for painting there.. this car was supposed to be repainted at hyundai worksh...op.. and these crooks are makign money by doing the job at a low cost area and taking the profit. sad to say the job typically done at the small workshop is no way comparable to a quality dealershipRead More

while I don't like the shape of Estillo.. was impressed with the interiors. Whether U should go for estillo just because of the resale value. Thinkin terms of how long U r plannin gto use the car. if U r planning to keep the car for more than 5 yrs, ignore the resale... a diff of 10K in 5+ yrs may n...ot make much diff.
On my personal front, I would still go for Santro as the shape is not something I can digest..
