I purchased the ikon diesel in may 2009.after a lot of research for nearly a year i compared the dsire n logan and made upy mind for the ikon.
The car was purchased from caculo ford goa , what upset me about the dealer was i payed a booking amount of 50000 considering 518000 the price, so that i could get it on time after 2 months but when i went to take the delivery they charged me an extra 10k saying the price is increased, i felt it ridiculous as i had already committed to buy by paying a advance taking in consideration the price i was told at the time of bookin , so what if the price had to increase to 1lac should i had to to pay 1lac or loose my 50k for not taking the delivery this was very silly on the part of caculo ford goa.
So i bought the car which came to 528500 ex-showroom insurance n road tax , and m very satisfied with it.the car has already done the 3rd service which cost me rs 2500 replacing engine oil air filter n the labour was rs 900
Overall, it s a very good car i considered for that price and i got and it gives me a mileage of 22kmpl with ac on.
