The icici bank credit card is so untrustworthy my husband carries 2 credit cards! Once he had to use his friends card to buy an air ticket because the credit card was 'blocked' due to 'technical reasons'. Till date we do not know of the reasons. So if you do have an icici bank credit card do not tru...st it completely.Read More

Whenever i have to visit their branch (other than just the atm) i feel like taking a gun. Just to collect my OWN money. Otherwise there is some idiot selling you a ulip (madam you will get 40% return), gold (20% more expensive than gold etf), demat or broking account (I have one thank you), credit c...ard (take another one maam this is a co-branded card)...Yuk it suks!! My husband's company asked him to open an account there. I am really sad I have to deal with a bunch of untrained leeches MISSELLING ALL PRODUCTS. Only product they do not push is their FD. I think they know it is risky. Will rbi admonish their ULIP sales please?Read More

I wanted to shift from Sion Circle to Mulund and called them for a quote. They came and quoted Rs. 18k. I had no clue about what should be the rates, so I called Professional Packers. They quoted 6k, and did a good job. I am now trying to get back the refund of 3k which Agarwal has taken from my Dad

well said. However policy holders are too lazy to go to cerc or irda. Irda should suo moto check such practices. However, you should also remember that employees (who actually do not care about policy holders or shareholders) are there for only a short time...

this could have been written by the communication department of hdfc slic or somebody at VP level - it is too well written by their agent, dsa, right up to the regional manager, they are full of pathetic communicators.

from a fan I have turned anti Templeton. Staff is no longer well informed. Knowledge levels have slumped, performance has slumped....as they say, they have come a long way indeed!

Metro used to have a sale very rarely. Then it became an annual affair. Now it is twice a year. In case you are wondering why, it is simple. Their footwear lasts only 6 months. Recently I bought 2 pairs of shoes and one floater. Nothing was cheap - one shoe was 4k, one shoe was 3k. And the float...Read more

i agree with Kathivaran. It is not about trust, it is about knowing there is a conflict between what is good for hdfc, for the bank (it gets 70% commission!), and what is good for you. If you do not do ANY research, blame yourself, not the bank. Sad but true people do more research for a 4k dvd, but... no research for a 50,000 a year investment productRead More

A friend of mine had a funny experience with this company. He had an insurance policy taken for his mother(age 64), himself and his wife. He paid the premium continuously for 4 years. However in the current year he did not pay and the policy lapsed. On lapsation the company asked his mother to g...Read more

too generic. Clearly the author is an agent of the company and not a real end user. Websites like this should also ask the 'author' to identify whether they are a company employee, a company agent or a real end user. That will alllow us to know if there is a bias

as long as Amitabh, AmarSingh, Sushmita, and all the lovelies in hollywood get good service, he may not care. Going forward it will only get worse, what with his fight with qualcomm. Lets shift to ? I dunno!!

hdfc's unit linked pension policy - the only way to buy it is to take a ONE TIME SINGLE PREMIUM plan. It has an investment content ratio of 94% and then keep regularly topping it up. It is better than taking a regular policy paying 27% upfront for 2 years. The only problem is the minimum amount is R...s. 25000. NO AGENT WILL sell this product because the commission is 2%, U NEED TO ASK FOR IT - single premium unit linked pension planRead More
