Metro used to have a sale very rarely. Then it became an annual affair. Now it is twice a year. In case you are wondering why, it is simple. Their footwear lasts only 6 months. Recently I bought 2 pairs of shoes and one floater. Nothing was cheap - one shoe was 4k, one shoe was 3k. And the floater was 1.5k.
One shoe gave way near the top - on the side. Even though the coming away of stitches is not visible, you feel it as soon as you wear it. I had to get it fixed by my old favourite store - Bata.
The floater was even worse. I have used it for < 4 months(once or twice a week!). One layer of the material used has come off, and hence the shoe stinks! I cannot use it at all - because it makes my feet stink. This is not what I expected from a brand like Metro.
So I am back to my old fav - Bata - Hush Puppies instead of this whole bunch of branded s@hit from Metro.
