Hi Kathiravan I agree to your comments that IT people don't read the docs but trust the persons who work for the bank and they are the ones taking advantage of this giving false information. If you believe so much in HDFC let me give you another issue which happened to me very recently. ... They had deducted the EMI amount which I used to pay for the above mentioned policy after I closing the policy. Again I had to rush to the brach to get that amount back. Now what do you say for this they are doing it purposly i belive since most of them do not check their bank accounts if its not a Salary account regularly and they deduct the amount we used to pay as the premium.
