Atlast someone honestly accepting that they had a blast watching BOOM... Yeah I accept if u ask me about loopholes in the plot & logic & stuff i cnt defend it... but then we happily accept all those vulgar david dhawan products just 'coz they r govinda films? what kinda mindset is that? ... besides i am one for as much T&A & sex on indian screen as is possible. B'coz sex is a reality of life (one of the few beautiful realities) & should be depicted on screen like anything else....Since i am a film student( i was an AD in GANGAAJAL) i love to see skin & abuses on indian films for my own selfish reason...that when i make my own film few years later things would have progressed a lot for me to make a film honestly without having beep sounds & song & dances...if u know what i mean... I also enjoyed the film & i think people the theatre did so too but since there was so much sex in ur face people didnt know how to react. So they took the moral stand.... up theirs!!!! This must be one of the craziest Amitabh roles ever....he is totally cool in my books for the first time... Read More

couldnt have agreed more....though the grudges about the saans bahu stuff isnt anything new....any average IQ guy should abhor them...i couldnt agree more with u on that BOOGIE WOOGIE thing....we seem to think alike...i cannot imagine how parents let their 'cute' kids dress up in those atrocious dre...sses & gyrate to bollywood songs... & worse than that I wonder how people come on TV for that KAHIN NA KAHIN...but i must admit i enjoy this one in a very perverse way....i find these people brave... & i find all of them really funny .... cHEERSRead More

i have never seen people having such a good time together in a theater for a long time...people wont just stop laughing...it was difficult to hear the dialogues after a good joke... all in all a good film with a few cliche' scenes....kudos to piyush!!!!

I donot hate anything remotely connected to Bollywood...go & check my fav hindi films.... I dont like bad bollywood films which unfortunately is 95% of them....& i dont have to like bad films just 'coz they r from my country....we r talking about art here .... coming back to ur LAGAAN ....u... couldnt have caught me on a better time...I just now watched 1 hour of Lagaan on cable today afternoon....so i was in a mood to discuss this...more so 'coz i watched another Oscar nominated film AMELIE 3 days back....& lemme tell you both the films r superior to LAGAAN.....AMELIE is a peice of art not just a film...typical french art!!! while NO MAN's LAND was straight from the heart ......Lagaan was a good story with stereotype characters but a damn enjoyable movie on its 1st watch no doubt...but definitely pales in comparison to the 2 other films mentioned.... And I think No MAN's Land deserved it.... cHEERSRead More

for writing this review....I have been waiting for this movie since long & if not for the viral fever I would have seen it by the 1st weekend.... Looks like its become fashionable to criticize ROAD...u bet...but they do have a point...The songs in a road film?... I know the commercial considerat...ions & stuff but it still doesn't justify the torture a intelligent movie buff has to go through if he decides to go to the theatre. Moreover commercially also I feel one can just shoot 2 videos & let the songs be in the background like elsewhere .....RM GOPAL VERM certainly can do all this...if he can't then there is no hope... Danis Tanovic's ''No Man's Land'' won the Best Screenplay award at last year's Cannes Film Festival, and OSCAR for the best foreign film beating our very own LAGAAN.
