I got inspired from another review on the same and thought of sharing the Ten best English music videos according to me. The list is in no definite order and is randomly generated:-). Let me tell you before hand, I like videos which I can relate to the lyrics and those which are funny or which has good looking babes in them or which are different from the rest of the crowd. I have put in a reason why its good, to which you may not agree.

1. Estranged

A great Video accompanying one of the best songs of Guns & Roses. A bit on the longer side though, its around 10 minutes long. You can almost map the song to some of the events portrayed in the video, probably my favorite Guns & Roses video.

Reason: Can relate with lyrics

2. Torn

Natalie Imbroglia is a talented singer and she looks cute. There is something about her and the video which draws you to it. Its somewhat different and there are no special effects but still you enjoy it.

Reason: Natalie Looks great

3. I Can't Dance

Man, this is one of the most funniest videos ever!. By Genesis and Phil Collins was great in this one:-). The lyrics and the video really gel together. Phil ogling over a babe on the beach and a dog trying to pull away his jeans from him, the frustrated look on Phil's face and the lyrics

Blue jeans sitting on the beach,

her dog's talking to me, but she's out of reach.

She's got a body under that shirt,

but all she wants to do is rub my face in the dirt.

ROFTL!

Reason: Extremely Funny

4.Living on the Edge

Very good song and a great video by Aerosmith. Thrilling moments when Joe Perry standing on a railway tracks and a train coming over and he stepping out the very last minute! Steven Tyler's half body with a zipper on it, I just love the video.

Reason: Can relate to the lyrics

5.Objects in the Rear View mirror may appear.

Again a very good song with a unusually long title from Meat Loaf. He is a expert in story telling and this video is as great as I'll Do anything for love. I can't describe the video you need to watch it and listen to the https://lyrics.

Reason: Can relate to the lyrics

6.Bittersweet Symphony

The Verve were a talented lot and I love their music, Bitter Sweet Symphony is a classic. I don't know how I missed it out in my earlier reviews. I will say that this is a very'arrogant' video and you can feel that. Do you know that Richard Ashcroft deliberately bumped with a pedestrian thinking that it was one of the extras in the shoot for the video and the he was almost beaten up?

Reason: I love this group:-)

7.Sledge Hammer

The artist in question was in many ways responsible for revolutionizing the way music videos are made, yes he is none other then Peter Gabriel. Do check up this video if you can, one of the all time greats!

Reason: Revolutionized Music videos

8.Where the streets have no name

Hey its one of my favorites by U2, they tried to repeat the magic of this video with Beautiful day but were not successful. The video was shot on the top of a single story building and the authorities almost arrested the members and had to close down the premises because they couldn't control the crowd!

Reason: Great concept for a video

9.Virtual Insanity

This is the only Jamiroquai video or song that I like. Neat video matching the lyrics and I heard that the whole set was constructed of just multiple conveyor belts! Its great to watch though.

Reason: Different and interesting and surprising when you know how it was made

10.Thriller

There should be a mention of this video, one of the largest selling ever(or is it the largest, I don't know exactly). Great video which makes you think. To imagine that MJ could come up with such a great video with superb effects in 1984! No wonder his videos are all great now. His always wanted his Videos to be like a mini-movie. Remember Moonwalker?

Reason: Its a mini movie of sorts and neatly made, come on, its great!

Peace

RR
