I will shamelessly borrow and change a line from the advertising campaign for US Open Tennis. There is no “I “ in “Team” but there is an “I” in “Marriage”, and KANK tries to bring out its place and proportion. Hi, Only if they could make maggie nutritious. May be have wheat noodles. I remember my mom making it with all possible veggies like peas, peppers, onions, carrots(like all moms who want to sneak in healthy stuff with the yummy). Then she would fry an egg separately. Serve the noodles in a plate,... put ketchup on it and then lay out the fried egg on it.wow..... Regards, VasantRead More

Hi, I have read this book a long time back. it is a good book over all but has a lot of sermonizing and cirumlocution. I feel that ur review is too short. It would be helpful for readers if u can elaborate on the book, its philosophy and also in general about Richard Bach's work. Regards, Vas...ant.Read More

Hi, good review especially the categorization. I had liked AB best in Majboor actually. In most other movies he has lines that exude agression and angst. But in this film its just his acting skills that are on display. here's one character that has as much vulnerabilty and helplessness as machism...o. Well, AB scores a perfect 10. Hi, Imran was no doubt one of the best all rounders ever. Plus a truely inspirational and influential captain. He did have an eye for spotting genuine talent and wasim, inzamam and co are proof of it. However i did read a couple of articles abt him where his teamates have been fearful of him t...han respectful. An interesting article involving Sunil Gavaskar's last test at Madras where the master held fort on a venmous wicket comes to my mind. Throughout gavaskar's 96 run marathon the Pakistani spinners were petrified of Imran's fury if they wouldn't have been able to dislodge the Indian stalwart. Another article criticized Imran abt not commending his team members in his World cup win speech and talking only abt his dream of building the cancer center. Apart from that the recollections of Indians who have toured pakistan when Imran was the skipper are ripe with incidents of Khan intimidating home umpires and also doctoring the pitch (referred to as 'Chand banana'). Imran had great charisma and cricketing acumen. May be some fair play would have put him up there with Gary Sobers the greatest all rounder of all time. Regards, Vasant.Read More

Hello, I wasn't aware about the collection of RLS vesres that u have reviewed. that is why I found the review short on detail. I would appreciate if u write more abt the book. Plus its great to know that a guy who can write Dr. jekyll, plus a tale as gory as the body snatchers also wrote a childr...en's poetry. Guess there was an alter ego to his personality as well. Hi, I loved hide n seek. I find them beter than most conventional cookies. The aren't too chunky or sweet so can be eaten while sipping tea or coffee. Plus they are not totally low on taste like Marie or Glucose whose existence is pretty much subject to some other stimulating beverage. Regards..., Vasant.Read More

Hi, Well written review. When ever I read abt this film and its characters I feel this is an attempt(which going by ur review falls flat on the face) to rehash and 'Indianise' the Brian De Palma classic Untouchables which had an ensemble cast of connery, de niro costner etc etc. Regards, Vasa...nt.Read More

Hi, I would have liked the review to be a little more detailed. May be u could have written more abt the humor in Sienfeld, which can change for cleverly witty to absolutely preposterous in a matter of seconds. Sienfeld is aptly called a show abt nothing. It can have u rolling on the floor or rip...ping ur hair out. Regards, Vasant.Read More

U seem a lot better read than u claim. Of the books u've mentioned ive read the last one and Prophet. I found the Prophet quite compelling. Especially Gibran's philosophy of work. Regards, Vasant.

Hi, Man! u seem to be a huge sonu nigam fan. good detailed review. My favorite Sonu Nigam song is 'Kuch Tum Socho' from his album Deewana. I dunno if his voice is as melliflous as Rafi's, but Sonu with Shaan is one of the singers today who sing with flair and passion. Regards, Vasant.

Hi, I have been to Matheran only once. Its a good spot for a one day trip. The food isn't all that great. Plus just too many monkeys around. Best way to get to Matheran is to take an early morning train (around 4.30 A.M.) from Dadar. Get off at Neral have a refreshing cup of tea and then walk up ...to Matheran enjoying the sunrise. Not a great hill station by any means. Plus most of us from Mumbai don't want to take a train ride on a holiday. Better to visit Lonavla which is a lot easier due to the express way and a lot more picturesque. Regards, Vasant.Read More

Hi, I had read this book a long time back. Hoenstly Im not a great fan of Wodehouse. Does this book have a cheesy ending where the other person who Lady Maud is seeing or has been seeing turns out to be either fat and obnoxious or a charlatan? Nice overall review though. Please let me know if the... book ends with lady Maud meeting the other guy in a restaurant and finds him repulsive. Regards, Vasant.Read More

Hi, This review is a good critique. Plus nice that u mentioned about the herd mentality. Its been long since large banners in Hindi cinema have been dishing out escapist nonsense. Its indeed sad that such atempts sell and hence fester more endeavors of similar nature. But the fact still remains i...f the average viewer would actually enjoy watching a hard hitting representation of his tough times. May be that is why the sachrine sweet yet unrealistic romances work. We are taken for a ride but most of the times we ourselves want to get onboard. Regards, Vasant.Read More
