A good detailed review. I mostly agree with you though I felt it a bit dragging halfway through the book. The twist in the end brought back life into it!....... And yes, Kahlil Gibran is my all time favourite and 'The Prophet' happens to be my bible! Keep penning such wonderful reviews, smile...... anjanaRead More

Good review! I could feel your disgust drippping from each word!:-)) I must say that SRK as the all time HAM master, maintained his consistency! Susmita was WOW!! and that was what she was there for! But you are right, she IS being wasted! Keep penning more such reviews! smile..... anjana

Thank you for reading my review and leaving your comment! I think it is the common reaction of those who are acquaited with the original novel. Unfortunately, the number is dwindling and commercialism is taking over! So, let's be prepared for more 'Devdas' and 'Chokher Bali's!!:-( Keep reading an...d commenting..... anjana:-)) Read More

Thanks to ya all for leaving your comments (and the promise of leaving a comment:-) sai- let's wait for Godot...... damo- may I know the name of that 'another old friend of yours?? Arvee- life is definitely not about proving others wrong! But there is a lot of fun in proving your most inti...mate partner wrong...or in other words...proving him right! Such things keep a relationship alive....or else taking one for granted creeps in....and that is like cancer in a relationship! Btw, who showed me 'my destiny'?? smile.... anjanaRead More

Kalil: Thanks for leaving your comment! It was very inspiring! sajjuQ: Thanks for taking time and RRCing my revu. Lyla: Your comment is as warm as your earlier message :-) Sai: Why do you always keep me on hold{ no pun intended:-)}? Its nerve racking!! suseuser: Sorry, if I've hurt(!) y...ou, pal! Sincerely wish I had known you before:-D Madz: 1.Infiltraters are basically militants and militants usually dress in tight outfits. 2. Sorry, my mistake! I actually spoke of both mothers. A gap between the two lines could have avoided your misinterpretation. 3. I'm sure Barkha Dutt's 'roaming around' was vastly different. The gravity of the war is missing here! BTW, your name is really fabulous! Rama: Yes, Preity's Armaan wig WAS hideous! Actually she is so fresh and vibrant that her clumsy hairstyle in the film disgusted me!It also doesn't go with her 'perfectionist' character. Amit: I'm humbled by your kind words! Thank you! Aarvee: The movie is worth watching and worth being disappointed! You people out there are GREAT!! Thanks for your encouragement and frank comments! Please keep commenting! anjana Read More

Hmmm...a very bourgeois subject indeed! In India, there are so many homeless people living under the open sky(sans insect repelent, tent etc) that the prospect of living in a concrete building in the city would be a better camping option for them:-)!...Just kiddin! An interesting revu bearing proof... of the writer's expertise in camping. anjana Read More

Amjad, I agree with most of your points but do not agree with your comment 'Javed Akhtar has made a wonderful comeback as scriptwriter'! I think it is the script that has let down 'Lakshya'! Anyways, a superb detailed review! Smile... anjana
