A good entry level phone....
Samsung SGH-C230

The IR on samsung phones are incompatible if u try to send or receive images or ringtones. U can only transfer contacts. And i think im very happy with my Flashed x100 version which takes it to new heights. neways keep ritin :)

u got something wrong mate. The 9Mb of memory is only for MMS, Ringtones and Wallpapers and not for SMSes. The max. capacity for SMS is 200+ ur sim capacity. Keep writin. :)

Orange Mobile Operator

I dont have an Orange connection but I have Airtel. They just charge me Rs.2 per SMS which is sent to non mobile no. ie. Yahoo,ICQ. Thank God im not an Orange Customer.

hey hv u tried downloading ne ringtones. If no then i tried downloading and hv downloaded more than 50 ringtones which r in .mid format and also from yahoo and other sites. It supports .mid format. Better check ur operator if it supports d website frm where u r trying 2 download them. And i agree th...at d ringtone volume is low but then u can keep on vibra-ringtones. And for the data cable, it is available in d market if u try 2 find it. The USB cable which is available in the market is actually d duplicate 1 but it works with X100. And if u want d original 1 which supports SERIAL port, E700's cable is d 1 which is compatible with it. first use all d functions and then write a review.Read More

I think u shud hv chosen for X100. It supports MMS,PC connectivity, GPRS (class 10) faster than GPRS in C100 and 9MB memory. But it lacks IrDA. Im very satisfied with my battery coz it works for me around 3 days. U can also add words in T9 dictionary. For more details read my review.

I think u shud hv gone for samsung X100 with 9 mb memory, 65 k colours and almost d same features of T230. Initially it did not had PC connectivity but now they r giving for abt 600 bucks for USB.

Hi, I have also suffered d same as you hv suffered. My bill came for Rs.1260 in a month where i didnt make calls more than Rs.600. When i called d Csutomer Care and asked for an itemised bill they said that u can get it frm our Web Worlds. When i went there they said that v dont hv d facility now...(Oct `03) but will b available in d future. Then i got annoyed and surrendered d phone without paying d bill.
