I bought this phone two weeks ago. I wish to caution anybody going for this model. Dont go after its 65000 colors. Because it has got hardly anything else. What is your favourite mobile hobby. Downloading ringtones.
Forget it with Samsung X100. All the ringtones supplied by nokia, indiatimes, rediff and other sites are incompatible with this phone as it takes files in .mmf format and not .midi format in which the ringtones are suplied by them.
Secondly the maximum volume of its ringtone is so low that if it is in your bag, briefcase, drawer, purse or pocket, you will not hear it ring and then you have to call the number incurring aditional expenses. Thirdly, data cable is not available, those that are available are not possible to use. You have to be highly technically qualified to use this phone.
I dont know what is the use of polyphonic ringtones, when you will not be able to hear the ring or you cannot download any tunes supplied by ringtone downloading sites. Phone is very good looking, but dont fall in the trap.
