Thanks guys!! I had no idea about the ROD part as i was visiting the site after a real long time. Pleasantly surprised to see it. In anycase, the review is very genuine and when i wrote it, i was seriously considering taking those blokes to court for harrasment. Have moved on now with a local(mayb...e not so local) internet provider called ACT. I get a foot stomping 5mbps. Its very rarely down and the nice ppl at ACT sent me a box of chocolates (very random and bizarre) saying thank you for your patronage. Am happy with them now, but i will never forget the ordeal with airtel.Read More

Did they respond to this mail by you? I am intrigued. I have had similar experiences with Airtel, and just because they are huge corporates, they get away with anything. Or they think they do., I hope you win this legal battle. Keep us posted.

I can empathise with you. I have faced exactly the same experience but with airtel internet connection. While the service itself is fantastic, the customer care and the nodal officers are a bunch of morons who are clearly not doing their jobs. I am shifting my internet now to something else. You are lucky hemanth. Of late almost any airtel service is a death wish. I hope u dont have any problems with your new purchase. But be careful with these guys.. they cheat you off money.

I am having a miserable time with my airtel internet connection. AIRTEL sucks big time. The staff is half a brain away from being monkeys and they are absolute cheats. I have lost over 3000 bucks to airtel over the last 4 months. I will never go back to them.

Dude. I am pretty certain you got lost and took the wrong route. I have done bhimashanker about 6 times.. and i dont know which rock this is you refer to. (it does sound like something u encounter on the sidi ghat not the ganesh ghat) We have identified 2 places where it can get tricky. One we cal...l the red slick... between the flat ground and before u reach the ganesh temple. And the other is the Kill-hari rock (second part of the climb after the plains) which is dangerous only during the rains due to the moss. Anyways, seems like the trek scared the pants off you. lol... did u stand at Nag-fani? Its an amazing feeling. Try it next time. cheersRead More

Hi Arvind. A comprehensive review indeed. And loved the fact that u used figures for comparisons and not some top of the hat words. Some concerns though. A diesel engine is a high compression, high stress engine. Fitting an aftermarket performance kit might have given u the necessary punch, but h...ave u considered what loads you are adding to the engines con-rods and crank? If the engine is not caliberated to such loads u might just have a problem on your hands after a while. Also u must change your tyres accordingly. If its touching 170-180, then the stock swift tyres will not be able to hold on. Just a thought. But great review, will look forward to more.Read More

The bit about the stereo system is bothering me. I was going to book a VDI tomorrow but if its wat u say, i might actually consider an LDI and get the stereo myself. Just curious.. wat do u mean by 'iffy'..?? I know that the steering does not adjust to speed which makes it a tad dangerous at high... speeds in that it will react with the same accuracy as your hand movement and at hight speeds this will be a major disaster. I believe the ride in the rear is markedly improved due to the softer suspension and reclined seats. I test drove the vehicle and for my height ( 5,9) it was very comfortable. Simply this.. u keep the car for more than 3 yrs, drive it about 30 km+ per day and you have a winner in the diesel. Like Gari mentioned, the diesels are actually getting a better resale value than the petrol now.. and the swift diesel is a car that has/can do no wrong in the minds of the indian con...sumer. Go for the diesel car. The engine is infinitely better than the petrol engine. The mileage is more. The power is fantastic (though i feel it loses steam around 100 kmph ) the boot is cavernous, and u will get great resale value. Read More

good review. I like the comparison, and since am looking for a small/mid size car, i enjoyed this. FIAT certainly owns ferrari, but is not involved in the building of those great machines. I just moved to bangalore and was planning on a Palio or a UNO. However, after reading this i dont think i will even entertain the mere thought of a FIAT as long as i am here. What is amazing is that with so many palio owners in the city and one dealer.. these guys havent been able to make this ...chap clean up his act??? thats pathetic on part of the dealer and nothing to boast of for the palio owners. dudes, get together and kick his sorry A S S so hard that he would be the only person in hell/heaven on a wheel chair.Read More
