I went to test drive the Dzire ZDi model yesterday. Went with my wife and two kids.I drove on both on high traffic road and open roads for about 10 -15 kms and found that the driveability was good at low speeds as well. The car pulled effortlessly. It never had any problem while in heavy traffic and zipped surprisingly well.
Then I switched to a traffic free zone and accelerated to 100 KMPH. Pickup & engine response was great. I jammed the brake to check the ABS system. It was as good as promised.
The Climate control was effective. I liked the tilt steering. It allowed me to see the dashboard more clearly. Inside noise and vibration levels were minimal unlike other diesel cars. Integrated Audio System is fine.
Rear seating has been improved by making rear seat back curved like SX4. Rear space did not look cramped as claimed by many. Boot space is good enough. All in all, it had all the features of a great family sedan.
