I am owning a Verna fluidic since 13/08/11. The colur I have chosen is BLACK as it appealed to me and my family. Before zeroing on this product I did a comparison study of similar vehicles of this category. After discarding other models(SX4, Etios, Vento), I shortlisted Honda City and this model...Read more

Dear Ashsish, The reason may be whatever for removal of your comment but let me sympathise with you. I am also a victim of TATA Motors. I had bought TATA INDIGO DICOR in 2007 and the b***** vehicle has bled me a whopping 3.5 lakhs in 4 years of service with unaccountable mental agony, frustration a...nd taxi fare. My advise will be GET RID OF THIS MACHINE AS SOON AS YOU CAN.Read More

Hi, I took a test drive on a 1.6 lit VTVT SX and immediately fell in love with her. I sold off my 'white elephant' Indigo DICOR (2007) and booked the car. Due to demand, even for petrol model, I have wait for 2~2.5 months. I had HONDA CITY, Volkawagon Vento & Verna Fluidic in mind and after compar...ing the features, I found the best value for money in this class is being offered by Verna Fluidic. Hi Siva, I have booked Verna Fluidic VTVT 1.6 lit (petrol). The engine spec is 120 hp, since they have changed the engine for new Verna. Although you have mentioned the fuel efficiency of 16.0 kpl, could you please elaborate a bit about the FE in City & Highway. What is the routine maintenance cost... ?Read More

Hi, I just want to share with all of you that I could sold off my car (Indigo Dicor 2007) at a price of Rs. 1.5 lakh. I have clocked 1,15,000 kms, spent additional Rs. 3 lacs on this lousy product, had sleepless nights..... Bye bye diesel, I am buying Verna Fluidic Petrol.

Dear Mr. Gupta, I sympathise your condition. Probably, you comitted the same mistake which I had comitted 4 yrs back. You can refer to my feedback in this forum. Now neither dealer nor TATA will own the responsibility. Hope you face no more bad situation with your new car.

Dear Raghu, While reading your review I got a feeling that I am reading the same review which I have written about my car Indigo LS-DICOR ( you can refer to my review in the relevant section). I am sorry to say that your trouble time has started and it will go on bleed you until & unless you sold ...it off. The poor service station fellow will not be able to help you as some of the spares may not be readily available and sometimes, they may not have knowledge to solve the problem. I tried my level best with the regional marketing department of TATA in Gurgaon to take back my vehicle but they say they do not have any authority for engine / vehicle replacement. I have written numerous emails to their head office, marketing office in Mumbai, Service headquarter in Mumbai - but without any result. So my honest suggestion will be SELL IT AS QUICK AS YOU CAN.Read More

Dear Friend, All the latest vehicles need some period to show its correct fuel efficiency. Since the dealership is telling you to wait for 10,000 kms, kindly wait. This has happend with my vehicle also. I bought a Maruti RITZ (petrol VXi). For first 7000 kms, it was giving a very poor mileage of o...nly 13~ 14 kmpl whereas the declared value is 18 kmpl. I even got my vehicle checked for fuel efficiency after 7500 kms of running. With the flowmeter connected to my car, when the mechanic drove at constant speed of 60 kmph on highway without AC, the vehicle showed 21 kmpl, when I drove with AC on at a speed of around 70~80 kph, I got 18.1 kmpl. The moral is please wait and if required get your vehicle checked for fuel efficiency by connecting a flowmeter. Read More

The Insurance company surveyors have got their own way of evaluation. In my case (HDFC ERGO), the guy told me that insurnace company does not pay for consequential damage. And you know how hard nut they are, their verdict is like Supreme Court's verdict, no overruling is possible.

I had a similar experience of the bureaucracy of Kingfisher Airline staff. I had posted my review of the ticket refund. After nearly 1.5 months of constant follow-up with their call centre people and nearly 10 mails ( 1 mail + 9 reminders), I could get my money back with a standard apology letter. ... Hi All, Let me share my experience with BSNL. After shifting from Delhi (MTNL) to Faridabad, I wanted to have a change. Hence opted for 'Un-reliable' Relinace. After spending some time & energy ( calling up Customer Care etc.) I decided to go for 'good old' BSNL. While I was staying in Delhi, I wa...s using VSNL dial-up, which I carried from Pune. In Faridabad, I used BSNL telephone line to use dial-up VSNL connection. After few days ( in 2005), I came to know about BSNL broadband. I purchased the MODEM (Huwaei make) and started using. Time to time I faced some problem, but that too on telephone line. Otherwise the connection speed is O.K. (although it shows 100 Mbps, actually it must be 30~40 Kbps). Only issue is I can not send mail using my vsnl i.d., but I can receive. Since the telephone bill was crossing Rs 2000 per month, I opted for Rs.750 per month, unlimited. I have not faced any problem of speed reduction due to change of plan. Let's hope they do not throttle the speed.Read More

Dear Rajesh, Till date I have covered around 61000 kms. So I could claim to be experienced in Indigo-Dicor. I am giving below the maintenance tips: 1. Please get you car serviced at specified intervals ( i.e. every 5000 kms) 2. Change the engine oil at every 5000 kms, till you clock 50000 km...s. 3. If you are driving in a dusty area, clean the Air filter element at every 2000~2500 kms ( insists on cleaning during the servicing also). 4. Another problem you will face is the Altenator belt. Adjust the tension and change both the belts at 10000 kms ( I had the experience on breakage of both the belts in the middle of the road and associated damage of rollers). 5. Without A/C, I am getting around 20~ 21 kms/ lit on highway and with A/C, it is 17~18 kms/lit. You also can get this fuel efficiency by proper maintaining the engine health.
