Yes, I feel the same what Harry said. How can u blame manufacturer in a stolen case. Secondly, reverse gear is never synchromesh. You must always stop the car and then engage reverse gear.

Thanks Snehasish for your wishes. I hope they will come true. I read your review and the problems you had faced. I will be very happy to have to guidance tips from you regarding maintenance og the car, as you are an automobile engineer and had a good amount of experience on Indigo. My Indigo is ...TDI version and I avoided Dicor since it is new technology for Tata and the engine was not a proven one. I know that a common rail engine is very costly for maintenence and also the parts used are very costly and sensitive to fuel quality. Also high fuel pressures which are required in commom rail can cause leakages if not maintained properly.And the last thing is that sales person who attended me had recommended TDI instead of a Dicor.Read More

Ashutosh, had u purchased this car or thinking of. If you can strech ur budget, I suggest you to do for diesel version. Logan diesel is good compared to petrol as pe the latest test reports from Auto magazines. Recently Mahindra had reduced the prices of Petrol versions to boost up the sale.

Nice car with good engine

Panwar, It is shocking to see that Dzire giving fuel consumption of 8.68 Kmpl. I had booked a Petrol Dzire (Vxi) keeping in mind that I can have 13 to 14 Kmpl in city.Please consult with service team reagrding this issue. As you said it truely, we have to fight a lot in getting delivery and after ...that if this type of issues come then it is great disappointment. Regarding reversing problem, I will suggest you to get fitted reverse parking sensors. It costs abt Rs 5000. I saw it in dealers demo car and found in very useful. Read More
