I own hyundai verna petrol for 3 years. great car with good ride quality and comfort. 1600cc , 103bhp VTVT engine gives nice pick up. overtaking in highways are as easy as cutting cheese. returns a highway mileage of 16km/l. interiors are great. not spend much for maintenance. annual routine service ( 2 times ) costs around rs.10000/-. very comfortable around 120km/hr, above not so good on road grip. Should recommend a second hand verna (petrol) for those buyers going for small car for 4 - 5 lakhs.
Previously I was owned hatchbacks, and upgraded to ford and then to accent. but driving verna gave me the pleasure of driving a high end car. the dash board panel, illumination, road visibility, seating position everything I liked. even though I have an eye on verna diesel, the service engineers of hyundai says even though diesel has better pickup over petrol they recommend petrol over diesel because 60000km old diesel may gives you trouble.
