@csgoel. Thanks for the suggestion. I have received my policy document and found that HDFC Life has changed the proposal form while issuing the policy. The form number is different from the acknowledgement. In changed proposal form the plan name has been changed, policy term has changed, my address..., phone number, office address, medical history are fictitious. I have applied for 'cancellation in free-look period', but as usual there is no response from their side. So, Insurance Ombudsman will be my next court of appeal. I want reiterate again & again... Sailesh, I had a similar experience. Only problem is I have paid 40 K (50% of my package price) in advance and after MakeMyTrip started showing it's true colors I wanted to cancel the package and demanded a refund. The agent I was communicating with and the customer support both are completely si...lent now.They do not reply to emails and don't call back. On coming Saturday, I will write about my experience in detail. I am also trying to find out how this can be taken up with consumer forum. Please keep us posted on the developments at your end. There are plenty of other sites, blogs and forums which will tell you more such horror stories about MMT.
