Once upon a time 3 friends SRK, Aamir & Salman went to watch Rajnikant's Sivaji movie. During one of the fight scenes SRK said "Arre yaar ye to sirf Rajni Sir kar sakte hain" Then Aamir said "Isme kaunsi badi baat hai ye to main bhi kar sakta hoon".
Then he stumbled upon director Murugadoss's venture & readily accepted it because he wanted to show ki "Yaar hum bhi kisise hum nahi". While the above story is completely fictional, that I think is the sole reason why Aamir Khan signed up this movie. A completely soulless &"ruthless" movie Ghajini reminds you of the B grade Bollywood movies.
Its so dumb & idiotic that after the first half an hour you don't believe you've come to see an "Aamir Khan" movie. Only the music can be called a saving grace but Rehman Sir please no more Bacchus & Lattus. The Second plus point of this movie is the protagonist himself who acts like a terminator with no emotions whatsoever & kills people like killing them in video games.
No law no police can stop him.(He is the hero you remember). The characterisation is sketchy. No characters are given space to express themselves except Aamir & Asin. The villian Ghajini is so cliche that you're bored of seeing these things on screen.
The love story angle of the movie that you've seen in hell of a lot of other films is also very cliche. Aamirji we expect a lot better things from you. Please don't do another Ghajini. I think I have to think twice from now on before going to an Aamir Khan movie. That is why I am going with 2/5 1 for Aamir 1 for A.R.Rehman.
