After more than 18 months of having used AirTel DTH services, I must admit that their call centre boys are not well trained nor are they able to easily understand the customer's complaints and issues. Also Airtel has not been able to satisfy some customers living in non-metro cities. Yes, the set to...p box does take some time to boot - yes, it also hangs all of a sudden - but i have noticed similar things with Tata Sky also - only major difference is that Tata Sky call centre is very efficient, well informed BUT their services are more expensive compared to AirTel.Read More

Mine is now almost 4 or 5 years old - Reliable old horse - but does make quite a racket - like an old Coal Engine - they have adopted the technology from BOSCH and have done quite well by tweaking it to suit Indian conditions - May not have the finesse but does the job efficiently if not quietly.

Regret that despite having the Phillips brand name - this product has an inbuilt recurring cost of Rs.575/- plus Rs.100/-technician charges for replacing the filter which stops dispensing water almost every 2 months - would be better off buying bottled BISLERI water - save on electricity and mainten...ance - no headache of replacing filters or UV lamps - or filling bottles to put in fridge - or storing drinking water. Will not recommend this product.Read More
