I have an Airtel connection at my parent's home. I think Airtel has invested decently in the remote-control and dish-antenna but its set-top box is awfully slow while starting and changing channels. When I browse through non-subscribed channels, the menus don't display. Sometimes I press couple... of buttons on remote and set-top box hangs for around 20 seconds before executing the button instructions. Here at my home, I have Hathway's cable connection. If SIM does not work, then only Rs.55 go waste. But if it fails after you have shared your number with everyone, the loss is huge, for me 100x times.
