I am a brand seeker for any product or service in the market. I just like an ordinary peanut with cover and passing time and having it at times, especially in this cold season.But I needed something.......
Few weeks ago, I was in our defence canteen for our monthly purchase. I caught hold of a product which was Haldiram Nutcracker. It was roasted peanut with masala coating. Seeing the MRP of Rs 35 for 200 grams, I decided to give it a try.
Packaging
It`s at par with any good packaging in FMCG market. The front portion writes Classic nut cracker with colour photograph of coated nuts, a vegeterian symbol, Haldiram`s logo and an advisory NUTS ARE GOOD FOR YOU which are cholesterol free. It also mentions SERVING YOU THE BEST SINCE 1941.
The back side provides Nutritional information in a clear way for each 100 grams of nuts like Energy 619Kcal, Fat 50g , Carbohydrates 20g , Protein 20g. It also informs about some other varients of the same item like Salted Peanut, Tasty Gupshup, Nimbu Pudina , Heeng Jeera , Mirchi Peanuts and Nut mix. It also provides a lanline contact number in case of any complaint. It shows the official website and a mail id for suggestion and comments. All the ingredientstoo are mentioned on the pack. It also accepts CONTAINS ADDED FLAVOUR. At last the Net weight, Mfg. date, Batch No, Best Before and the maximum retail price. At last the manufacturer address with a `request` to keep the city clean symbol.
The Nut Cracker
Just have few masala peanuts(which I tried) in your hand, look for 2-3 seconds, to have the `feel` of the degree of outer coating of masala and then start munching it.
It`s so crunchy and tasty at the same time that you will hate any interruption in the form of any call on your mobile or even your friends. I am sure that you may not like to share it and like to have it all yourself.
It will be a punishment of the higher degree if you are not allowed to gulp the next bite after having few bites of it. It`s so yummy man. I love you all and wish your hands on this product at the earliest. I am sure to get praises from all of you who try it. You will be permanent userfor this eatable.
I got scolding from my wife for munching half the packet in one go. I too felt guilty of my act. Next day I finished it all secretly !! Such is the lovable taste of this item. I feel, it`s healthy to use nuts. It`s the cheapest nut available in the market and the mouth watering taste.
