Hi Rajasagar I do not know what model you have, what went wrong with your filter and what are the weather conditions in your city. But 2 months is pretty quick for the filter to stop dispensing water. I mean the filtering limit is 3000L which is pretty quick to be reached in 2 months. Or may be t...he consumption is that much. Its been 9 months(subtract 2 months, as out of station) now, we are yet to get the indicator when it reaches 2700L, let alone water being stopped. But of course, we are a family of 3 staying in a place with 2 months of summer heat, thus, our avg consumption rate per day is 10-15L. Thus, probably a rough calculation of your family consumption and the nature of consumption would help you reflect on the frequent change in the filter. Coming to the additional cost, it is still less than the AMC you have to pay for the other company's service. This is based on the calculation that on an average there is 1 change of filter for a family of 3 staying in a place where it is pleasant and cool 9 months a year. And the change of filter is so easy that one need not call the technician. Since we are not paying anything as maintenance fee to the company, we may have to pay for the service provided by the technician. And this change of filter does not fall under any repairs of any sort for it to be covered in the warranty. Probably, the brand name has just proved that it will provide what it promises unlike hassles faced with other brands for filters. No, in Samsung RT35E, there is no such provision of freezer section being convertible to normal refrigerator comptt. Somehow, do not remember seeing in LG 350. But with Samsung, we have a problem of noise. LG is pretty silent compared to that. Do take that into account once u start exploring for ref...rigerators.Read More
