Redington are the only authorized distributors of BB in india so monopoly works....i have faced the same issue in bangalore....no one picks the numbers they have provided...walk to they outlet they say that the handset has to be sent to BB service center at another loc in bangalore and they are not ...authorized to disclose any info about the service center...leave your handset or dont choice is your....the redington people here at bangalore pretty rude,unprofessional..non commital....liers....
I am still waiting for my Bold9000 which was given for service 2 weeks back...
oh yea one more thing...never ever buy electronics from croma,ezone or staples they sell rejected/used pieces.....you will not be able to distinguish it as the defect will be very minor until it turns to major later once its owned by you....i have experiences with croma,ezone and staples bangalore....Read More

you can register your card on www.sbicard.com website and make your payments online to avoid the hassless of running around for a drop box. I make my sbi cc payments online through this website itself. The payment would reflect within 2 days....

Axis bank is one of the worst banks to ever deal with...bangalore axis bank is run by illeterate clerks...who dont even have the courtesy to followup....i request for my address change for my salaried account 3 weeks back till date its not done complained to the chief compliance office...no use perh...aps that was just shift+delete my mail...just waiting for 4 weeks to get over so i can complain to the rbi bank ombudsman....unfortunately i have my salaried account with such 3rd grade bank that i have no choice but to sit quiet...the only good thing about their service is the online internet servics..Read More

Hi,
Please file a complaint to rbi against sbi and the recovery agent. You can read the faq's http://www.rbi.org.in/Scripts/FAQView.aspx?Id=24 question 5 second last point...states you can file complaint against a bank if they use recovery agents....for filing your complaint http://www.rbi.org....in/Scripts/bs_viewcontent.aspx?Id=159 you would find a complaint form...go ahead and fill it ...rbi would respond....i did the same against citibank and axisbank in bangalore one for rejecting my cc application without reason and the other bank for never updating my address inspite of several reminders....

Bangalore bigflix services is even worst. I subscribed last year april and was just wasting my time...none of the dvd's i kept in the queue i ever managed to get...the ones i got would always be defective dvd which would either hand or stop working mid way...several comlaints went on dea...f ears as it hardly matters to the BTM layout big flix center in bangalore finally the best part came when i wanted to cancel and get my deposit refunded...i had a hell of a time to get back my refund...i hope you dont face the same tune i faced incase you wish to cancel....i work for a software firm in bangalore with over 20k employees and mailed the entire distribution list within our company to make sure never ever to waste their money on bigflix....

I used airtel broadband for 2 years in delhi till may 2006 then relocated to bangalore . My miseries started once i took airtel broadband services in bangalore....speed and reliability excellent...sales and complaint handling worst is not a word i can use.....as long as the internet is fine good...f...or any complains call the customer service and u r in to get your pateince tested forever...i complained to airtel twice once when my modem stopped working and next when i was shifting to a new residence to move my connection...first case took almost 3 days to get resolved.....2nd case 4 months now and i get calls right from cc dept retention department...airtel people come to my house...make me fill the form....take all my docs but no connection so far...the last i interacted was on 22nd april....form was filled again all docs collected....till now no connection....so my experience....as long as u dont need to reach out to 121 be happy else...get ur patience level tested.....another misery...i used airtel mobile connection in delhi for 6 years...when i came to bangalore in june 2006...got an airtel mobile connection...and i was in for the shock of my life...every month my bills were exceptionally high...on detailed enquiry traced that some number which were reflecting on my itemized bill were never done from my cell...disconnected the number thrice and it got actived within 24hrs stating i myself got it activate...finally i had to go to one of the airtel main branch in bangalore get in writing from them that my cell number is cancelled and all dues are paid....it took me 8 months to get the cell number dc and switch to vodafone...all this while i never had complaints with my airtel broadband services so continued using it..
to conclude...after sales services for airtel is one of THE WORST in bangalore and no one from airtel cares a damn...Read More

Good to bring this to the notice of customers....this tactic is being played by other banks too...i also was told by sbi that based on my other credit cards limit i would get a better limit with sbi...on recieving the sbi cc i got just 1/5th the limit of my other 2 cc which i hold with citibank and ...icici.....as far as cancellation goes hdfc is definitely going to give u a good run around...best is dont use the card at all after 6 months of non transaction the bank will automatically suspend the card..i had a barclay cc which had a very pathetic payment services so never used it for a year one fine day i got a mail saying due to non transactions for security purposed they have suspended my cc incase i need to reactivate to call them back...its been 2 years now my barclay is suspended and i never got any false statements or any fees stating i owe them anything....

i too hold icici plat cc since 2007 with no issues however one problem i have is the customer care which are dumb whenever i call them to redeem my reward points....Arnold i have almost 4200 points on my card and whenever i call these guyz to redeem whichever product i select is always out of order ...and they ask me to followup after a week...after calling them for around 4 times till march 2010 i left it...Can you suggest me how can i redeem those points for a tupper ware set and few gift coupons...

Btm 2nd stage one is even worst...you explain the person a particular way of cutting your hair and he/she would cut his/her own way and express it as the best style to suit your face...finally you come to work the next day and get the eye popping stares with comments like 'what the hell happened to ...your hair' . Stop differentiating a city on the basis of government corruption....i am not a native bangalorean..belong to goa....living in this city for the past 5 years....police are corrupt in every corner of india not only bangalore....this is not new...so instead of cribbing about bangalore as a city accept... the fact that these government servants are corrupt irrespect of a city or state and live with it happily... You can also give a try with Dr John George he has his clinic in brigade tower/Brigade road...i got 4 rc done from him....most of my office people go over there...excellent doc...i am not sure about manipal...only opinion i have about manipal is they charge bomb for a minor twitch...so ...incase you have your medical insurance 100% coverage then its fine to visit manipal..else if you need to burn your pocket try out this doc for once....

Reliance or for that matter any cellular provider/broadband service provider in bangalore is not bothered about you as a customer...they have their weekly sales target to achieve and they can go to any means to achieve such targets....till you dont sign on that dotted line you are God for them and t...hey will wag their tail behind you...once u sign the form ....you are one of the many numbers which add up to their tally for target achieving.and just nothing...you call their customer care they would give you nice circle around by transferring calls to different department...you walk upto the same store and the store people would give you tons of excuses to prove you are wrong and they are right.....i have faced these issues not only with reliance but with airtel broadband as well,airtel cellular network,vodafone cellular network...since i never got any resolutions i keep cancelling them and going to different service providers... I stay in south bangalore at BTM
Please do not expect any resolution from such people...incase you get one you would be the lucky one so celebrate..

Went through your review...this is common with many gyms in bangalore....incase you are residing in and around south bangalore...you may wanna give a shot at Gold gym jp nagar 3rd block....or the hsr layout one near bda complex..other gold gym locations at richmond town....i am a member ...of the jp nagar 3r phase since may 2009...i am satisfied with their services...cardio has good equipments each fitted with small tv which works fine....you can opt for a personal trainer who would run you through the entire schedule...cardios,stretching,weights....the locker room is neat with towels provided at a cost of rs 20....bathroom and steam and sauna is inthe locker room itself so you dont need to run around with your belongings....shower gels are decent....coming to shoes...yes even gold gym will ask you to wear a seperate pair of shoes on the excercise arena...i do not know the logic behind that....fees....i had joined at a yearly fees of 14k but as of now the yearly fees is 27k....if you negotiate..they would come down till 23k...trainers prices are seperate..i am not aware as i did not opt for one.....but as far as i am aware their prices too are like bomb....some 6k monthly going upwards depending on the grade of the trainer....physio is good and knowledgeable...yes one thing please do not go for any diet plan or slimmingplans thats bad coz the dieting absolutely has no clue as to what she speaks about diet....my wife had followed her diet plan for slimming and to her shock put on 8 kgs of weight in 3 months...thats one vertical i would give a 0 rating to gold gym jp nagar...ac works fine....temperature is maintained usually between 22-23....water dispensers are available with both hot and cold water....you would have your exercise card which would be monitored and reguarly updated by the trainers...they would plan your exercise and cardio and mention it on your exercise card....btw i am no marketing guy for gold gym just shared my experience...Read More

I agree that citibank is another rogue bank in disguise...perhaps they need to show profits and find any means to cheat customers in order to get that profit. I have been using citibank account since 2002 april,unfortunately am tied up and cannot close this screwed up bank account coz my home loan a...mount is deducted from this bank....they come up with any new rules to suck money...the latest rule...if your account balance falls below 25k any month...pay a fine....do online transactions like fund transfers,booking online tickets through your savings account and they would charge service taxes even if its like peanut 10rs...perhaps every penny counts for citibank....
Mahesh sir, i also reside in bangalore and have found citibank to be the worst bank i have ever come across...and speak to Mr praveen sheshadri the south branch manager for citibank...and he would give foolish reasons as to why citibank applies such charges.....I have had several issues with citibank....they use blue dart to send any banking documents ...i never knew blue dart would be such worst courier services....my normal bank statements through ordinary post comes right at my door step in btm layout and courier by blue dart never reaches me and is signed by some unknown person and already claimed...i never recieved online atm pin,telephonic pin...on several occasions coz luckily they courier services which citibank uses never delivers anything at my doorstep...several repeated request never to send me any bank documents through blue dart falls on deaf ears...i have to always walk upto the MG road branch to collect my atm pin or telephonic pin incase it gets blocked or i need to get new issued for some careless usage by me.
I have even escalated issues of citibank to rbi bangalore....but they are such shameless bank...they would call apologize and get back to their same old means of cheating and screwing people....
