I am using this product since july 2009 and have been happy with every feature available in it.
I have taken the basic data plan of vodafone for unlimited emails and chat facilities and I use my wifi connection for unlimited browsing facilities as I have a wifi connection at home as well as work...
Now to start with....look wise a classy phone with good looks and excellent display graphics/resolutions....keypad is comfortable and u can type easily they are slighlty curvy rather than straight in the nokia e61 which I was owning before buying this product...the browsing speed is excellent and this phone never hangs......i have run multiple chat windows and browsing windows and the processing speed is fast enough...once u guyz would use this product u would get accustomed to scrolling between the different browser windows or chat windows....
voice clarity is good and clear both on speaker, headset as well as using handsfree....features are excellent including firewalls and blocking facilities to avoid junk sms/mms/emails...the trackball is good enough with no hassles of getting stuck like u sometimes would face issues with the curve 8900....side convenience keys can be modified according to the users needs...as I have kept one for sms and the other to check my emails.....display resolution is awesome with sharp clarity...the one disappointing thing is the camera which is just 2 mp...however with that also u can click good pics but u cant edit them....onboard memory is 1gb so u can download a lot of applications from appworld.blackberry.com, and then I got a 1gb card also free.....battery life is I would say good...generally I have kept the vibrator mode on so whenever I recieve any mails or chat msg it vibrates so on an average the battery would last me 24 hrs sometimes 36hrs with regular chatting and emailing .....if I charge the cell today morning would next charge it next day in the evening and the cycle keeps repeating....
Overall I am happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone who needs business on the go with technology....i dont see anything lacking in this phone it has the 3g, wifi, bluetooth, gps, blackberry maps everything....oh yea one thing I did not use the gps thing coz I got the basic plan of vodafone wherein I cannot use gps...i generally use the wifi for my browsing purpose....guyz if u take the basic plan with this phone ur wap browser icon would disappear from the phone screen and u cannot access and websites.....if u want to do so u need to access the websites only through the normal bb browser with a wifi enabled....generally when u buy this product and dont take any plan there would be 2 browsers available one the bb browser and the other the wap browser on ur phone menu options...i am not aware if u take the entire bb data plan which includes browsing if both the browsers appear or not....as I have not take that plan as yet I am happy with this basic plan as I can use almost all the features thru my wifi except the gps and bb maps..
oh yea forgot to mention opening attachments is no hassles...pdf, doc files, xls file....infact u can use the doc editor to even edit these files.....while chatting u can click pics and just send it directly thru send file option in ur chat....similarly u can recieve also files which will get saved by default in ur pictures folders......or u can just send any files saved anywhere on ur phone while chatting on the go....
