The zen is essentially a 2 seater car in Europe. ie. 2 adults + 2 kids. The speakers for the music system can be fitted onto the rear hatch door panel. I had the same problem u mentioned in my '97 zen and fixed the speakers in the hatch to get enhanced bass. [you could fix a 6x9 there] ... Also the current zen is a derated version of the earlier one [apparent cost savings] ie. 12' rims instead of 13' rims. This has spoilt the already bad ride and makes the car extra bumpy on our oh so great roads :) Happy travelling!!Read More

Yup, great bike..i still think about the razor sharp accelaration of the bike. The current 4 strokers may be faster but are more mellow [read drivable] in their power delivery. Had the bike 15 years ago. Great to note that there are still RX lovers.. :)

People like you to nail the culprits. What maybe needs to be done is write a letter / email and post to all leading newspapers / letters to editor section. Sure someone somewhere will look up this issue. The local corporation counseller is the first person to act / change the scene. The l...iterring of stray cattle is not necessarily on OMR but on all Indian Highways. The police should enforce the law to protect the cattle as well as us [drivers and passengers of vehicles]. Also we could mail to the CM's cell which i'm sure will get some attention atleast!! Read More

Well written, Hope it reaches the right people. Yeah I agree with Mr. Premzi that we need to have the best in class in the world to survive global competetion. And there should be no taboo to the industry on reservation. Wonder when India is going to face up reality and change. Else we may be sw...allowed by competetors [read as China, Taiwan, Korea, Hongkong etc..] if we already are not :) Read More

Hi, The trouble you faced is due to poor PDI by your dealer. He covers up by blaming the manufacturer. Tata dealers have a reputation for blaming the principle. The Tata Engines need to be run-in for the first 10K kms. Yes 10,000 Kms to set. I have owned an Indica DLX and Tata Estate and dr...iven over the past decade. The Tatas lack finnesse but they are definitely ROBUST. Have fun!!Read More

Hi, Maybe you could add RWH as well as desilting of the local water bodies regularly in and around Chennai to improve the water situation. I was shocked to note that all the so called natural lakes / water bodies in and around Chennai was/is being used for construction to contain the ever inc...reasing population. All the water which was full due to rains in the month of December 2005 is now dry [March 2006] I wonder how we are going to last years when all we could do is hardly 90 days.. Hi, Both the vehicles Sierra and Gypsy are kind of extinct. But the gypsy is a real off roader whereas the Sierra is not. Also, the gypsy runs on petrol unlike the sierra which runs on diesel. If you are gonna do more of highway runs, i'd suggest the Sierra else if it is mud plugging - The... Gypsy is a good and wise choice. Good luckRead More

behave..I agree with you on certain points..maybe british ruled india better..the problem now is Indians are selling India. We seem to have no respect for ethics, respect, modesty et all. Also, there seems to be a weakness for fairer skin.. I wonder when we are going to get better politicians who... start thinking before acting..Read More

I am not sure how many of you will agree to this.. The lane traffic system at Anna Salai [bits and pieces] system is absolutly ridiculous. Coming to my Indica, I settled for a V2 DLX which came with all the goodies. I found the power windows too noisy to my liking. Also the OE tyres 165/65 R13 were inadequate and I changed it to 185/60 R13 Michelin Certis Tubeless. There was no music system when I purchased the car (July 2002). ...Read more

the car is definitely worth the money..There is still NO COMPETETION for the Indica Diesel ... the sad onces such as Ambys and Fiats [Premier 137D] having dissappeared - Infact the 137D had a great engine !!!! what a shame Premier automobiles could not last to enjoy the laurels
