The Gurgaon Clashes: Another Feather in the Dirty Cap of Government of India and Indian Democracy Monday 25th July 2005, the independent India saw the first time the misuse of power at large scale. A silent protest was turned into a gory tale by the police and adminstration of Haryana Government at Gurgaon, when they brutally and indescriminatly lathicharged the silently protesting union workers. About 1000 peoples have been injured among which 600 are seriously injured. About 40 peoples are missing. Some bodies were thrown inside the mainholes and nearby nallahs.
Everyone has seen the TV and media report too where it was shown hundred of workers lying on the ground and policemen brutally banging them on the ground, such a helpless situation. Tuesday morning when CPI MPs Brinda Karat and Neel Basu went there they were manhandled by police as well as abused, sicne they were not knowing that they were CPI MP! The degree of uncivilization of the government itself is that much high that instead of suspending the police officers and personels involved in the brutality are still holding the lathi and suppressing the public, openly and ghastly without any shame and moral responsibility.
Due to fear and continuous police threatening injured peoples fled from the local hospital and hiding themselves. Even ladies were beaten brutally.
This is the society and governance being offered to citizen of India! Forget law enforcement and Human Rights....Such a Large Scale incidence of malgovernance clearly shows that in which hand our country is and how much public interest is safe.
No police officer has been punished or suspended still and a formality is being done by ordering an enquiry.
The matter is dangerous as Japan is involved
Just to please Japaneese government and Honda, the government and adminstartion did all this. The respect for own peoples is over. On otherside at political map, Japan is threatening india suggestively that this incidence may have negative impact over JAPANeese FDI investement in India. What they want to tell us??? already earlier too it has been shown many times that Japaneese employees practice racial demarcation and give bad treatment to indians. this will be not tolerated and Governemtn of India should clealry tell the Japaneese companies and Governemtn that instead of giving such loose statement kindly practice the civilized code of conduct and disengage themselves from purchasing the governemtn bodies and adminstartion a happened with Haryana.
Haryana Governemnt is already down with poor infrastructure for Gurgaon which developed like mammoth. There is no electricity, power and proper water supply. foget the law ienforcement, which is in very pathetic situation with transportation. This is the high time to drag the Haryana governemtn for doing misdeeds with Peoples of Gurgaon.
The Final Lines:
Britishers ruled India Better than Indians ( This was said by Manmohan Singh recently in Oxford). And this is a very correct statement which I had already heard manytimes from our ancestors. We are paying more taxes on every sect for being citizen of India.
This is not the democracy. Shame on Government of India.
