Well,
What can I say, It was the top of the line bike in its class for more than 10yrs. I have seen people driving this bike w/o their headlights, parts falling off...that just tells you passion of the guy behind the wheel. He takes pride in driving the ultimate machine no matter what the condition the bike is in. We got our first bike in 1991. Only 3 people had the bike in out community of 1000 families. Many people who didn't feel ''the beat'' of the engine went for cheaper/more economical ''Hero Honda's''. But its just not the economics that matter, at time we have to ''let the passion overtake us'' that was the catch phrase YAMAHA started marketing the legendary RX-100. Hmmmm....well, we where not that lucky to have the bike for life, someone stole it. When reported, one of the COPS tell us ''SAAB IT IS THE HIGHEST DEMAND IN ROBBERS''...what else can I say, something are better left unsaid........ :(
