Welcome to MS! Why the long silence? I see you've not written any more reviews nor read or rated anybody else's... Do keep writing, that was an excellent debut! Amrita

sorry to disagree with you, but I kinda liked this movie. I thought the dialogues were very appropriate. Though I think Jyothika was *poorly* killed (maybe the director should have showed more reason for this?) I did enjoy the movie right up to the very end. And the songs and music were awesome like... you said... AmritaRead More

I agree with you! I've been to Malaysia too and when I returned to Singapore, it seemed like I was in the same place...just that the roads were wider (the expressways) and of course a tad cleaner...I really liked Penang in Malaysia...it has a lot of preserved heritage!

I love every single song that you have listed here!! I haven't heard the very first song 'Jabu koi baat kadu jayen' but all the rest are my absolute favourites!! By the way in Ae Ajnabi(which happens to be my favouritestest [english professors excuse me] song, I thought the instrument used was Shen...oy. Are you sure it's a violin? Anyways, really awesome stuff! Considering you don't know Hindi, it's an even more admirable effort ! AmritaRead More

Cool review! Though I prefer 'Enakkoru Girlfriend' to 'Secret of Success'..I just love 'Uyirin Uyire'!! By the way I haven't heard that song in Julie Ganapathy. My friends watched the movie and said it was horrible so I didn't bother watching it or listening to the songs. Maybe I should give it a ...ear sometime. AmritaRead More

Sorry to rate your review just useful. I wish you had given more info about Dubai! And like Munna says, Dubai is such a desert! If someone has been to a place like Singapore or even Malaysia I don't think they'd find Dubai half as attractive...Not that Ihave anything against Dubai-- I think it's a ...pretty good place to live in, especially since there are no income taxes and stuff. But is it really good for tourists?Read More

Nice review. (Though I won't agree with your comments about men :-) ) Did you actually read all those books? *wow*!!! I read about 5 books of the Chicken Soup series and of course liked them a lot. But I felt that they sort of got stagnated. Sure, there are a lot of stories, but after a while th...ere you read a lot of similar stories...though I've stopped reading those books, and don't even remember more than a few really really touching stories, there are some things I learnt from them. I realised the power of optimism. Once a situation came where everyone around me gave up on something but I remembered the chickensoupo stories and thought, 'No! I'm not going to give up! I can do this if I want to!' I set my mind to it and did finally win all odds. So I'm thankful to the series for teaching me the power of my own mind!Read More

I really like your choice of songs! Thanks for reminding me again of so many nice songs. Pal, Oh Sanam, Sa Ne Da Pa (this was an awesome first attempt at indo-western fusion music!) Hey how about 'Woh Chali' by Bombay Vikings? I think it's a pretty good song..

Nice review! I love working on Solaris machines too. I've been using it for 2 years now, and am very comfortable with it. I especially like that we can choose the environment we want to work on unlike in Windows (or Linux?). I must mention their Java documentation! Among all the languages' document...ations that I've seen (not many of them :)) I think theirs is best.Read More

You must surely remember many matches that Sachin has won for us! Do you forget WorldCup 1999? In so many of those matches it seemed as though the Indian team was made up of two people--Sachin, and the rest. Balagi nice review. I held an informal poll among 20 friends. 14 of them said Sachin was an... Avatar!!! Shocking? But true! :-)Read More

I really like your review and I reaally agree with your way of thinking! Beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder. All these beauty contests and manhunts are just plain waste of money and time. I wish they would telecast the Nobel Prize ceremony (is there one??) instead. Then we'll be seeing peo...ple we can really admire and adore! Look at most of the beauty contest winners. They behave so cheaply (on and off screen too!) I wouldn't mind if they were called Miss.Beauty Queen or something. They definitely don't deserve to be called Miss.Universe or World! Those tags must be reserved for people like Mother Teresa!Read More
