Very well written review, Thakur, in a long time on MS. Ah, well on one score, regarding the Govt, asking to apply to the DND and The NDND List - I feel, It's completely fake. For I was one of the very few, whose Number was listed on Vodafone's DND list, by none other than the CEO himself....ye...t I used get enough calls, to irate. I registered for the NDND list also again thru my Service Operator and the Result - The calls to my number increased manyfold! So, now I don't rack my head with these tele-marketers, for I simply and very politely tell them the following: 1) For those who are upselling me schemes from Vodafone/ Airtel? I pretend I can't hear them clearly and ask them to call me back at the alternate number's - which is mostly of Top Rung Officer's at Respective Service Owners. I assume, these Officers take care of the rest...:). For I never get a call again! 2) For the Credit Card & Home Loans: I tell them I will accept whatever they offer, but I have no money to pay back....to which they very sheepishly shy away. and never revert back. Net-Net - Matter Resolved to a large extent. My Scam Incoming Call and even SMS Rate has dropped drastically. Maybe one odd, in a month or so! I am a SBI Card holder since the time it was launched, and regret, but till Date, I have not yet had any reason to complain, for the simple reason, their Escalation desks know their job and value customer feedback. No hardfeelings, but the solution to ur issue is SIMPLE - 'your need should be ...as important as theirs.' In other words, 'to expect Organisations to serve/ comply with standards, ask the Right Question.' And maybe u misinterpreted the ' free gold card, Rs. 10,000 free gift balance transfer at 0% interest' altogether? - Possible, Vishal? Think out of the box, sometimes, it helps to be just human! You know what, your Review is very well written and hilarious...I like that last sentence, dial 1 for....Dial5...but what does one dial for Talking to the DISSERVICABLE CCE? Ah! With 4000 Crore Net Profit this fiscal, to Bharti Televentures alone, NOW I think customer's would know, where the money is coming from? Ofcourse, Overcharged, Inflated Billing Software, that Airtel Bharti (Mobile & Basic) are proud of owning. They wouldnt upgrade..? Why should they? If th...ey do, who will give PROFIT? So, Consumer Forum, can perhaps do justice, but, it's time to take the Bharti Bull by its HORNS, to public court, and cancel their Licences for such descrepency. National Consumer Helpline claimed last month, that out of 48,000 complaints, Airtel Billing had a whooping 18% to their credit. But are they moved? NO, Why? Hi Ashok, The one's they air are more than a year old issues? So what respite are these channels talking about. Why would they go for u? They get advertizements from these Co's, so why wud they air, your concern? Think about it.... As for ur revu, U aren't the only one, is all that i can empa...thize with u, at this point in time. However fr lawyer - don't get into the RUTT. They are all hand-in-glove. yes you could perhaps, logon to www.core.nic.in and file in the same. Not much would happen, but you would've added ur nail into AirTel's Fence. If that satisfies u to some extent. Read my TWO experiences both on AirTeL, and you'll know what I mean!!
