Wonderful review, with all major aspects covered. It is a wonderful scooter that came in too late and people dint like it for some practical reasons. Sad to see it discontinued. I used Eterno for a good 3 years before letting it go.

No spares with Honda.

Hi there, It is very sad that Honda is not supporting the vehicles that are out of production. About a year back, I and my dad ha to literally hunt for the rubber transmission belt and pulleys from 3 different locations for half a day as the authorised service centers either do not have them or they... would not sell it if you do not get the vehicle serviced at their center. Even telling them that the vehicle is stranded at road side did not help. As far as I remember, all the vehicle manufacturers are supposed to provide spares support till 15 years after a model is discontinued. Which seldom happens in our countryRead More

Your review is what I call a perfect one for a person who actually is going to use it for many years with is hard earned money! not some review written by a motor journalist. Yes the question you have asked is very much valid, regarding the two strokes being phased out in the name of pollution. I... recall having read somewhere that the actual reason is that the manufacturer lobby would love to have machines that need more replacement of spares than a good ol two-stroker. Also, let me add this point to your question. TVS motor has phased out samurai and TVS Max 100 bikes ciiting them to be two-strokers, however still continue to manufacture a moped called TVS Super XL with a two stroker engine.
