Airtel sucks. Review on Airtel Mobile Operator

Airtel Sucks. When I applied for mobile connection with Airtel, they said that they will activate the connection with in a day. I waited for the activation. Two days got over and nothing happened. Then I called the representative. He said the connection will be activated with in an hour. I waited another day nothing happened. I called once again. He said there is a problem in the SIM. He gave the new SIM and said that it will be activated after two or three hours. I waited for one more day. Nothing happened. Once again call... Reply... will be activated after 12:00. I waited one more day. Again called... Reply nothing can be done today is holiday. Tomorrow it will be activated. Monday came and 12:00N the connection got activated.

Then comes the broad band experience. As I have the Airtel Mobile, I decided to choose the Broad band internet. That is the worst mistake I have ever made. I am an IT professional and My new assignment demands working from home. There are 20 days left for my new assignment. So I decided to get internet connection before that. I called Airtel rep and paid the advance for my internet connection. He said we would give you connection with in 5 days. I said you can reach me at any time. He said that the provisional people would come on Saturday. I waited for them. I tried to call the rep. He never picked the phone. Sunday came. The same he said that they will come tomorrow. No one came on Monday. I was waiting for them. No one called me during the week days. The week end came. I once again called the rep. He did not pick the phone and few times he just attended the call and he did not even speak a single word. I called the customer support. After asking series of questions, the rep said that we will not be able to provide the connection today or tomorrow. I told them I wanted that badly. The rep asked me to call back after some time. I called afer some time. The Customer support said that they will come and provide the connection tomorrow morning(Sunday). I was waiting and no one came. I once again called the customer support. She said we will solve the problem by tomorrow evening. I explained him, I applied for the connection and paid for it long time back and what happened from then. The customer support said that they can not do anything They will only do it tomorrow. This time I got really angry and talked with the manager. Then at last said that in that locality there are some technical problem so we can not say when we provide the connection. I asked them why did every one lie. She said nothing for that and still went on and argued that nothing is their fault. In all my conversation I just kept my self calm and did not even showed any anger. At last I cancelled the connection. They said that they are going to give me the money back. I doubt that they will return the money. Above all the broadband service does not have a toll free support. when I called the 121 which is the toll free support number for mobile, they gave me a number which is not toll free. So all the time my mobile is charged for that. I lost all my day, my money in terms of mobile charge and energy. I doubt that they will return the deposit that they collected. I recommend no one should go for the Airtel.
