I had a airtel post paid connection when they started operations in kerala. After 2-3 months I have noticed a interesting thing. If I have a bill for 400 Rs this month next month it increases to 500 , next month it will become 600 for the same amount of call. At last I canceled that service at Rs 900 /pm.


Then I went for bsnl connection after 2 year use due to net work problems I was returned to air tel prepaid.(strictly want to know about cost).


I am using the new airtel prepaid connection for the last 2 years. But the customer support they have given me for the last one week was enough for 2years service I have used.


The drama Starts like this.


Amount april 15 2006 I am received an sms like this. Airtel introduces validity recharges for Rs49 and Rs99 . For Rs 49 you will get 7 days validity and for Rs99 you will get 14 days validity without talk time.


first time I recharged for 99 April.


This month 10th of may I recharged again for validity recharge 99 and a top up for 150. When calls made I noticed that I am charged Rs 2/per minute instead of 90 ps/per minute. I have contacted customer care and inquired the person on the other side was not sure about that so said I am registering a complaint.


next day morning 9.30 I called they said according to our new plan my plan (it was friends plan) was changed to life time plan. And we have advertised that also. so if you want to go back recharge with Rs 101 and it will be reset to original plan . I said them it was not my mistake you haven't informed me about the new changes .


In fact the advertisement came on 11th May and I was recharged it on 10th May


Even though it was not my mistake I have recharged again for Rs 101, at 9.30 11th may. Then I tried with a call. Its same again Rs 2 per minute. I again contacted customer care (This is what they calls 121). They asked have you not seen the advertisement. I told them advertisement came today . Then they said it will be changed within 48 hours. (WHEN THE PLAN WAS CHANGED TO A HIGHER TARIFF PLAN IT WAS HAPPENED WITHIN SECONDS-- BUT FOR CHANGING TO MY ORIGINAL PLANS ITS TAKING 48 HOURS) So I had done a top up for another 500 also. next day I called they said 48 hours not over... so I waited. when 48 hours is over .


Then I called 121 ( IT cannot be called customer care so now onwards it will be 121) They are asking how may I help you SIR? . I said I have a complaint. what complaint SIR. I said you look. Sorry there are lot of complaints. Then what is the use of registering the complaint ???? Then I have to repeat all the things again. they said It will be corrected by evening . Again when I called them 12th evening they are saying that it will corrected on monday 14th.... MY MONEY IS GOING BY 2RS permin.... I said I want to correct it immediately. They called their supervisor . She said it will be corrected at 8'0 clock if not call her. Its


same thing nothing changed by 8pm. So I called 121 they said she was not available and the issue will be corrected on Monday. ( working day).. So 121 will work on working days only.


After some talk I got connected to another supervisor SOMEHOW the call disconnected. I again tried then there is no supervisors available... so you have to wait till Monday.


At last I gave up... Any way 300 Rs balance is there ... I can make make call up to that and throw away this

This is like lord ganapathi's marriage... It will happen tomorrow ... (always)..


If YOU ARE EXPECTING 121 Go for Airtel and EXPRESS YOUR SELF... Let them become big corporation by cheating poor peoples money....


If you want customer care go for some other providers.....
