A very methodical and practical guide to review writing. There can be agreements and disagreements regarding some of your points, but i cannot fault you for having identified all those characteristics which are important for a great review. Nice job dude. One note....why is it that, after hav...ing said so much without getting controversial, you now prepare to cross swords?? Dude, do not draw your sword when you expect flowers. Get a good shield and helmet, but you can keep your sword sheathed. Take it easy it wasnt meant to be serious. All in all a great review. Hope to get more like these from you, based on your own 10 commandments too.... Ciao!Read More

I had a lot of expectations when I watched the movie. All of them let down. Great sets and costume and a big startcast, do not, a good movie make. I gave your review a HR, because you've taken the trouble of going deep into the feelings that Devdas SHOULD have explored but fell flat trying to show. ...I felt that being a creative person yourself you could've focussed a lot more on the lack of a smooth flow in the film. I felt, after watching the film that what the film lacked was a soul. At no point of time did Paro appear to me to be really in love with Devdas. Holding a lamp in ones hand for as long a time as is proposed in the movie, is just a feat to be mentioned in our own limca book of records, but the visuals and acting do nothing to say that. And our own devdas looked more like a drunk popping out of one of Mumbai innumerable beer bars than a soul lost in love. His love for Paro had to be mentioned several times in the dialogue, but could not be felt from the acting. All in all a passable movie, if not for the fact that they've burned quite a few tons of money in making a disaster of this proportion. All viewers are justified in feeling cheated. Covering up garbage with gold foil may make it look good, but in the end, it still is garbage, and is going to stink just as bad. As usual, an emotional review from you, and I agree with your emotions... Claw p.s: I HATE LOSERS LIKE DEVDASRead More

I agree totally with what you say, with no reservations whatsoever. But I felt that turning our heads away from it all and burying it in the sand doesnt really help. One needs to be armed and educated as to why some people do what they do on this site.(ITS ALL FOR CHEAP PUBLICITY AND FAME BUD>>...;>THATS THE MESSAGE I WANT TO GIVE).Point taken that people might take the review and apply it to their writing, missing out the negative tone of the review and the lesson to be learnt. Much as I may hate it, I know that this approach really works for cheap publicity. I dont mind the R as much as I appreciate a genuine comment. Thanks a mill bud. Respect ClawRead More

Niraj, you've defined your own pre-conditions for fame and I think others would agree that you have all of them. So I guess you end up famous after all. Like it or leave it buddy, ure famous. Reviewer....I guess I have been reviewed now. You've got the gist of my message alright. But to tell you th...e truth, I dont really like the kind of reviews that come out of my advice. Thanks guys sohail and Pooj.... Sohail, I agree that more than just reading and rating, its commenting thats more important. Pooj, I think your reviews are popular more coz they are rational and on subjects that truly appeal to people. This is certainly not me scratching your back, but yes, I do ...admire your choice of subjects and your choice of words to describe/explain them... Keep writing guys... Claw Read More

totally in other's ratings influencing our own. And i agree you have a point on the 'you sscratch my back-ill scratch yours' phenomenon too. In fact, I find myself agreeing with everything you say, including the war-trophies yet useless nature of the MS points. Fact is the only attraction that MS ho...lds for me is that its a great place to read interesting stuff written by interesting people. under the bodh tree, i wouldn't have got the kind of enlightenment that i have gained from this review. After all, im just a innocent babe...(oops sorry, boy) in these woods. Now suddenly a lot of things make sense, such as the fact that some of the stuff i've written not making it yet(mouthpad prob...lems). I do feel happy when i see my name out on the best debut category, but the SORT hasnt sunk into my feeble brains yet. Controversial reviews do leave a bad taste in the mouth(Even in my short stay here so far, i do think i know who u are referring to.) But one thing I guess we all believe in is that its the majority of the members who make this a great community. Great work. Keep doin more stuff like this. Respect! ClawRead More

Id say the best remedy is to kick off a rock concert at home, to drown out the one goin on in your head. Great job. One sure remedy is aspirin. What you read on the net about vasopressins is 100% true. So what you do is use a vaso-dilator. Aspirin is one OTC drug which gives immediate relief(withi...n like 15 minutes). But Aspirin isnt safe for everyone. Aspirin prevents blood clotting. So if you have a haemmoraege in the wrong place(like your brain for example) then it wouldnt stop. Happened to Bruce Lee. Could happen to anyone. Best non pharma cure I have tried is to have a steaming hot cup of strong Lemon+mint tea, followed by gallons of water and a few extra hours of sleep. Hope this is of use to you. Rippin great review. DocRead More
