I understand ur emotions but hey this book is a piece of fiction and was never meant to be a documentary on Call centers. I agree that the call center atmosphere is not portrayed correctly but then that is the authors point of view. Everyone does nt have to agree with it. U are a bit opposed to t...he book bcoz u work in BPO industry and u feel the book does not do justice to the BPO industry. But then again just as I mentioned earlier this was nt meant to do justice to the BPO industry. It is just a piece of fiction and thats all. But on the whole I definitely found the book to be a good one. May be u too may like it if u dont look at it with the eyes of a call center executive. Read More

I too have been to ooty a couple of times. I would like to specially mention Dodda betta ( I m not too sure of the name, was there perhaps 4 yrs back)peak. Its a really gr8 peak from where u have a breathtaking view. However all in all I would prefer kodaikanal to ooty. Heard Yerkaud and Hoganek...al falls on Tamil Nadu Karnataka border are gr8 too. Never got a chance to be there.Read More

Toi me also winning matters. But wat I was pointing out was a scenario as mentioned by Naseer in The straight drive. 'Wat happens if in the semi finals of the world cup against a team like Aus we lose the toss and are put in to bat first. Will we be able to defend??? We really need to look into tha...t aspect too. After all in the last 6 matches batting first we ve won only 2 times.Read More

Hey wait we ve won its ok but we did it so chasing. Do we have it i us to defend a score?? After first match I seriously doubt Indias capability to defend a score. So If India needs to be a consistent team it needs to improve on this aspect too.

John Grisham is a master when it comes to spinning interesting tales from seemingly boring court room incidences. The chamber is yet another of his court room sagas although an old one I m sure many would have read it especially Grisham fans. But I just could not stop myself from penning a few w...Read more

Again a good review from u. YEah the India Pakistan series have become more predictable of late. The mother of all series seems to have lost its charm. I think the frequency of the event is killing the interest. Instead of having the series every year why not try out the ashes formula of hving one... every 2 years?? That will build the interst of the people sufficiently. Read More

My my I was a bit confused bcoz this review was meant to be on Sha Rukh but... Well I do agree with ur views on several issues. Mainly that Kajol is one of tyhe most talened actress around. Surely Shah Rukh is no match to Ajay Devgan. Ajay Devgan is way ahead of him. Shahrukh looks highly repet...etive and artificial whereas Ajay is spot on and highly intense. I ve always felt that Shah Rukh overacts beyond limit. In fact the only movie ( of course after anjaam infact the over acted in movies before anjaam too but to a lesser extent) in which Shah Rukh seemed like acting was Swadesh which unfortunately bombed even after being such a good film. But then crap movies like K3G succeeded. No wonder Shah Rukh is the king KhanRead More

It was surely a good reivew which covered most of his films. But Frankly speaking I m not a fan of his. He might be the King Khan but talking on terms af acting ability I think there are many in Bollywood better than him. But yeah the producer does get his value for money with Shahrukh in the mo...vie coz U want actors to act in the movies whereas Sha Rukh does nt just act he over acts. Ha ha ha Any way those are my views and I may seem prejudised. So If I hurt the feelings of his millions of fans I m sorry. But it definitely was a well written review.Read More

I think ur article contained over dose of relegious sentiments. The movie might be a gr8 one. The novel surely is gr8. But all said and done it is defenitely a sensitive issue, one bound to have repurcussions through out the world. The novel is a piece of fiction and we should take it as one. Now I... dont want to dwell into the arguments of Bible being Mutated or facts being altered. Why should any one care??? Relegion is a matter of faith. If U have faith u believe. If I have faith in bible I ll believe in it. If I have faith in Koran I ll believe in it. And If I have faith in Geeta I ll believe in it. So wats all the fuss about facts being missrepresented?? The bottom line is that THE KORAN, THE BIBLE, THE GEETA, THE GURU GRANTH SAHIB AND NUMEROUS OTHER HOLY BOOKS HAVE THE SAME MESSAGE THE MESAGE OF HUMANITY. SO WONT IT BE BETTER IF WE CONCENTRATE ON THOSE MESSAGES RATHER THAN THE SO CALLED FACTS ( OR MISSREPRESENTATION OF THEM)?? More over it was utterly needless of u to go wander into the controvercies regrding the book and of course the recent one regading cartoon of The Prophet rather than focussing on the book. And the usage ' U christians.. We Muslims' looks highly discriminatory. Read More

I knew that I ll get some gr8 comments from u thats Y I specifically asked u to cread n comment. YEah I agree that there are people who selflessly work towards the collective betterment of this country and its people. Graham Staines and Sr sudha are there but tell me frankly how many of them can u s...ee today. In ur day to day life how many graham staines and Sudha have u come across. Probably none or maybe a few. Anywhere else u look u find people not caring for others. I m not rying to be a good chap out here mind u. Selfish people include me too. Thats Y stress on the need for introspection and the need to act. This country needs more Graham Staines and SR Sudha. Read More

Good one there varun. I think u covered the sereis pretty well without making the review too long. India did well but I think the real test will come when India bats first on any forriegn pitches. It will be interesting to see how Dhoni fares with the moving ball.
