Hey there,
well.......i must say I was a bit disappointed with this review of yours..........it wasnt objective.....looks like your a big shah rukh fan ( not me I prefer the real and the intense ajay devgan) .
here's why I did not like your review..besides the fact that it was biased.....i also do not agree with you......b'coz you actually managed to put kajol down.......NOT FAIR.......agreed kajol is not perfect looking.............but put her against any actress (worth her beauty queen title like ash or sush...........or rani ........who copies madhuri.........her so called smile and grace remind me of madhuri ........yes rani is lovely but she is not an original........but.......KAJOL ..is) and kajol will come up trumps for more watch her in baazigar with ms hot bod shilpa you will realise that talent comes first........and lasts longer........she also had to fight rani in kuch kuch hota hai.......where rani was again playing the done to death conventional role of this good looking babe.........but kajol managed to hold her own................and if you need more proof watch........dil kya kare.....where mahima chaudhrys histrionics are no match to kajols naturalness........yes kajol is not a pretty face.....she cannot dance like a dream like madhuri or ash.............but she does not have to be beautiful or dance like a dream to prove her point...........she just has to be on screen .............and you will realise kajol is trully one of a kind...in that she is an original.........individualistic........rani is more conventional................there can be another rani...but there can never be another kajol (however clumsy or squeaky she might be........which actually adds to her uniqueness)
coming back to shah rukh khan yes I loved him in raju ban gaya gentleman......he was endearing but since then he has become more commercial and repetitive........also I think whatever shah rukh does is for effect he is an attention grabber..........put him in the same frame as ajay devgan and you will know the difference between natural acting and acting for effect.
however I do agree with you that juhi is just too perky.......she can be irritating at times........again watch juhi and kajol in ishq and you will realise the difference between kajol and juhi ........kajol does not do anything for effect but juhi does......so does ash .......and so does sush ( who btw copies michelle pfeifer and kajol and does a hotch potch job of it) .......sushmita is too much of intellectual and acting is not about intellect its about natural reflexes......watch her in chingari ......where she does a perk overkill ( trying her best to imitate kajol) in the beginning but I agree she is an intense actor...she is good in intense scenes but then thats it..............
