Hey i heard so many good things about Verna CRDI i went and checked it out yesterday and even did all calculations for buyin it and went to test drive car everything inside was good and when i sat inside and started i dint feel anything (which is very good) and steering was very very light and it fe...lt i was driving a small car lis alto with power steering .When i put in first gear i realised what it takes some thing to drive this car cos the gear ratios are just not suited to city driving it is like if u put in first grar dont touch till 20 and same thing in second and to cross 40-50 range you have to wait for the engine to rev up to 1800 rpm untill then it really feels like alto with same power then when it crosses 1800 mark its like another engine has come live and all veran horses start jumpin and take speed beyond 50 kmph.how ever i drive mostly in city with speeds ranging from 10-60 so i feel this car is not for me as the effort required to drive this car is much more than other cars.Read More

Hi avantika, abhijeet It would be greatful if you let me know the applications for which you will be useing the laptop. Assuming that you will use it for home application 1.watching movies. 2.mp3 3.internet brousing 4.office applications. 5.games I would suggest buy compaq 3018tu price 4300...0 inr (without OS) and upgrade to 1gb ram price 2000inr. buying microsoft xp sp2 is 6750 inr totally you will be shelling out 43000+2000+7000=52000 inr. the config is good and vista ready too. how ever if you want to look out for other brands look out for following config i would suggest insist on 945 chipset, hdd SATA 5000+rpm 60 gb(donot fall for bigger HDD as you can always buy external HDD cheaply) ,intel processer 1.86 ghz(single core or duel core)intel centrino duo, ,media card reader(to read memory cards from mobiles, digital still cams) ,IEE1394 port (to down load from your handy cam/digital still cam),lan port ,wireless A/B/G(for accessing internet at airports, blue tooth(to interact with your mobile phone),RAM should be min 512 (donot settle of lesser ram as 128 mb is shared ) DDR 2 speed 533 or 667.Insist on DVD read write on dual layer(8.5gb dvd) Point worth noting is that if you buy HP then you get a remote and if you want to run only DVDs or play MP3s without booting the PC you can do that. Dont bother on buying international warrenty even if you are travelling abroad as the models released here and us are different and you might not get support however if you are getting free of cost pls go for it. last point is pls negotiate the price ut least 2k from what he quotes . regards sandeep pratap PS:if you have further quaries pls do write to me at pratap.sandeep@gmail.com INTEL/AMD ey there is a big debate on whether to buy amd or intel (i would suggest buy AMD) how ever make sure before buying the bottom of the laptop dosent get heated .secondly amds performance is amazing so go for 64 bit. Hey guys the color of my car is in the pics which i have uploaded -- which is silver. The reason which i took it is red is too bright blue -- it is an unique color and touch up jobs might be difficult. green--it is a good color however this color too kind of stands out of the rest of offering ...and may be difficult for touch ups. black is what i wanted to buy --again my mom was strictly against it(from a hindu family and anything balck is considered bad). if you donot have such problems i would suggest go for black.(touch ups and paint jobs are very easy.however there is a problem with black that all scratches will het highlightened. hence i bot silver. Hi prasad, I have not compared with Wagon R as I was told by my friends that the the ride in the rear is very bumpy. however i would like to answer the points you have put across. Point 1.The luggage space in the rear i have put a 36 inch luggage (which we generally use for US travel ) with e...ase plus couple of hand bags. Point 2.In most of cars i have checked the doors donot open completly however in xeta the door opens completly and ppl can walk in easly even in the rear seat.PPl in rear seat have enough space even if you push your front seat completly behind. point 3. In order to answer this point i had called my mother and asked her if santro(my sis has one) or xeta was comfortable sitting in rear .she gave thumbs up for xeta. Point 4. I have not compared with Wagon R and with regards to foldable seats xeta has 60 -40 split (which i guess is std with most cars now-a-days. with regards to spares it is comparable with marutis (how ever i have not changed/added anything). regards sandeepRead More

Swift was primarly targeted at ppl (in European market) who wanted a small performance car. swift was supposed to be a cheaper small car from suzuki .Secondly It was available with higher engine varients and lot of other features (as far as i can remember) which made it the primary choice. As is w...ith most cars which comes to india most of it was strip down and they fit esteem engine what they retained was its shape which again is good but has its limitations in indian conditions as u have mentioned .Read More

Hi neha, manjunath for personal driving i fell this car is a bargain.just go ahead and buy it. I Am driving it and the sheer drivability and ease to use in city make it the best option to buy. eg I was driving yesterday santro in bangalore city traffic and the i dono after driving xeta i felt i ...had to over revw the engine even to move forward. same thing in xeta you put in either 1st or second gear(with ac) and just release clutch and vehicle moves forward. The only problem which i was facing is who has better servicing.so what i would suggest is if u r in bangalore manipal and prerana are comparitively better in servicing than concorde however for buying the car you can buy any place tata has given you an option to get your free servicing from any of their approved places. PS:If you are used to driving with left mirror then buy GLG model.as you donot get spare mirrors for GLS and below models with beach interiors. Manjunath: i would also like to know what was your reason for rejecting swift.Read More

what optimistic_analysi says is very true nokia is trying to catch up with se in terms of techonology in many eu and american markets however for guys who have their minds set on nokia and not ready for the sweeping change in the form of SE or any other brand i guess you will like no other phone ,...i cant help it its your choice as for me i am happy with sony for all it offers and for the price it is offering. I guess die hard fans of nokia should look out for other phones and you will realise what you have been missing all these years. sandeep pratapRead More
