Recently I flew between Hyderabad and Mumbai....by Spice jet. I was expecting very poor service, because they had the cheapest offer compared to all other airlines that day.
The counter person in Hyderabad spice jet office, was very pleasant and had excellent manners to handle customers. Looking at his attitude created an impresssion that this airline cannot be so bad.
So I took a chance, and booked my tickets, and after that everything was smooth.
When I called my bombay contacts and told them spice jet....they said What ? are you sure ?
But after the flight I told them, fly and see...its the best airline.
The flight left on the dot. Flight attendants were smiling. made you feel comfortable. I asked for water, and she attended to me very promptly with a smile, even as the plan was approaching to land shortly.
What it proves is the People behind each business can take initiative, and make the company successful. It is good that spicejet has taken good efforts to take best staff for their airline.
Any business can collapse if they have staff with wrong attitude towards work.
Other airlines must learn from Spice jet, How to be good with customers.
I assure spice jet, that I will be back soon flying with them again.
