Dear Friends,

Since I had bought Xeta one thing had always been troubling my conscience and that was the mileage of Xeta. Initially it was giving 6km/litre. After doing around 500 km the average shot up substantially to 12 km/litre. After doing 1000 km I had a chance to go twice to Pune from Mumbai and back via the Expressway. This got me the opportunity to test the car as well as the mileage. I would like to share the facts and figures with you.

  1. The car is a real comfy as far as the driving seat is concerned. The visibility is good. My parents are senior citizens and they felt real comfortable as they are in my bros Honda city.

  2. The car is easily maneouverable on sharp bends and on steep climbs of the Ghats and I would add the power steering is a big help on this counts.

  3. The ac is pretty effective even for the persons at the back and I prefer driving with ac on to avoid the noise and the pollution.

  4. While driving on Expressway I had to see the speedometer often coz u never know when u go above 100 as car is so smooth and quiet on high speed.

  5. The suspension I think was made keeping the potholes in mind. I had a real bad patch in between full of potholes. The damn place resembled the craters of Moon. But the car was not knocking us up n down as it does in Maruti.

6. Oh yes I did some overtaking and its fun to take on the biggers cars coz you have the power in your Xeta to go for it.

  1. Driving down at night and that too in rains the headlight were a real help. As far as I think they are better than any other in it class.

  2. Yes one more thing while the car is idle there is a tendency to go for the ignition as the car is so ssssssssssssssshhhhhhhhh silent.

  3. I saw lots of Indicas on road and it was a welcome sign to read Welcome to Indica City when I was entering Pune. ( I have been there umpteen times on road but first time I noticed this bill board).

  4. And friends most important the mileage I got a very decent 14.25 km/litre average with ac on all the time.

U bet I am satisfied with my car and any doubts I had regarding the mileage have all gone.

So happy driving my friends

Ciao
