...I think the biggest strength of this film was its script. As for closeness to reality is concerned, we do live in the ugly world where selfishness is the general rule than not. Most of us manage a balance of reaction. But there are some who can't. Koel Puri's character is one such girl. Although ...the symbolism of the film is not immediately clear, White Noise is actually the point where you are at peace- neither too happy nor sad. Just like the color white accepta all colors to become itself- tranquil. So does white noise accept all the sounds and become null- nothing. This white noise is soothing. I like the film so much that I could go on. But to each one hiw own. Although I agree on one point, not exactly the kind of film you want to see if you take your girlfriend along and have any hanky panky in mind. This calls for serious viewing.Read More

i dont think i could have described the book better. what i really like is how the author manages to be alternatively comical and philosophical during the entire book. i remember the extract where he describes the bliss of spending a night on the riverbanks and enjoying nature just as you would enjo...y basking in a mother's love...and he almost immediately switched back to his situational comedy. his wit is matched by very very few. i've finished it just a week back and i absolutely loved it. btw if u like reading funny and u still haven then try erma bombeck one of the few writers who writes utter nonsense and gets away with it. she's superb. again, gr8 review. :)Read More

u're probably rite abt the state of politics in this country and the hypocritical attitude tht most of us seem to have towards it. but maybe the problem lies elsewhere. the crux of it all i think is tht the running of the country is 'politics' in the first place. it shud be purely administrative i t...hink, thts the only way of ensuring efficiency. sumthing needs to be done abt the eligibility criteria for entering elections i think. and as far as the spirit of patriotism is concerned, i dont quite agree tht its extinct. look at late capt anuj naiyyar and so many others...why go tht far..look at urself! dont be such a pessimist....it takes all kinds of people to make the world, or the country in this case. chin up....up is the way to go :) in any case...keep em coming... and all the best for ur career in politics...:)Read More
