Yes, Mr Wisecrack. Have got to say that you don't quite fit in with the rest of the review...the al-qaeda comment...a little uncalled for (and quite racist), don't you think...

Love the way you start. Love the way you end. The middle could do with a little more body, esp. about the story. But all in all, well written. Maybe you could start your blog with this one!! Ekta

Sushma Reddy deserves the award for the most appropriate outfit ever worn in a movie: a short black skirt with some disco top, when she has the frail task of climbing hills, white water rafting and other such tame stuff. There are many things wrong with the movie, but I am going to start with...Read more

Dark brooding frames, minimal dialogue and a serious, multi-layered plotline. Five stories have been intertwined to make one movie. And I really had to pay attention to every frame of the movie. And even, after the movie got over, I was wondering about the complexity of the whole narrative. ...Read more

There are such rare glimpses of originality in Hindi cinema that it hurts me to see them not being realized to their full potential. Some comedies that have had a genuinely original story and have been dealt with amazingly deft direction are Hera Pheri and Munnabhai MBBS. But sadly, there are fe...Read more

'people will say they love it just because that's what everyone is saying...' Couldnt have agreed more with u on this one. But one reason could also be that we dont want our heroes to fail. Yes, the accolades have been dished out. And so have the brickbats. I have heard a thousand opinions about Rang De Basanti. Some have loved it to the point of talking about it in blogs, articles and recommending it unabashedly. And there are others who have told the numerous flaws in the histori...Read more

Fight Clubdeserves a ten-star rating. Some movies raise the bar. The Fight Club is one of them. Zinda- where do I start? Should I gloss over the few minuscule good parts of the movie or simply go on about the bad parts. I think i'll start with the former since it will get over quickly. The acting is not so bad, and so is not the first half. Like all Sanjay Gupta flicks, the emphasis is ...Read more
