This movie is definately not suitable for an audience who has taste buds and antenna for movies like Billu Barber and actors like Shahrukh Khan.
Its just like offering Vodka to someone who loves lollipops.

go through your review as a reader and you will find that your review has failed to justifiy that why the movie should not be seen.
In my personal believe with such combination and story, this movie can never be unwatchable at least.

Genuine review indeed.
he had literally converted hindi cinema to dhanda...a matter of business without substance rather than art.
Even Govinda gave more profit and success at box office than him.

inner look says that both the movies KANK and Don have been not hit in India. KANK and Don are declarred flop in India.
You r putting self made magic numbers dude. you can increase the zeros here as much as you can. Better have a look over box office sites than gettign and making hurt.

awards are not the true parameter at al.
if he has been so good performer why did not he get a single national award while his junior manoj bajpai got 3!
World knows crdibility of filmfare awards.
I don't need to hate his popularity. whatever he gets it's his own credit.
And if you r so confiden...t about my fanfareship for srk, better choose some psychoanalyst shop...you can better mislead.

Before closing this view of mine, I request people to take this review in sporty manner. I myself had been a big fan of this man during my schooldays and infact used to wear gogs like baazigar to impress my crush. But the truth is what I felt about him ..I have written here.

This was the list of his flop 30 movies out of his total 45-50 movies.
An actor who was once loved too much becuase he came to an industry at such a time when it was stinking, beautiless and repetitive..he gave us change...but he forgot that he should to be modest, honest and non repetitive..but instead everytime he potrayed himself bigger and better so unconvincingly and arrogantly that people started hating him. On the name of quality movie he first made us happy later started doing salesmanship delivering poor and idiot remakes like Devdas and Don which were really not needed. He further escalated into worst character doing dance in marriage fucntions and parties to make money, charging for opening ceremonies and endorsing endless brands. At least he should not dance in parties for money.
We loved Raj, a honest lovable guy, ..and he played it best...but why he could not play the rest! Instead of being arrogant he could have improved himself, but as the time passes his mistakes are increasing too. Paheli, KANK and now Don! What he wanted to show us?
Everyday he seems like a bigger looser, struggling to survive. My hero who is now meeting a sad end of his story, his carrier, which he could have stored with grace instead of arrogance and dishonesty. He has lost his credibility and watching his movie has became waste of money and time.

This is another time, I am seeing Indiafm group trying their best to save and fight for survival of a SRK movie. Last time it was for Paheli and KANK.
The did all the best they could to bring the audience to the cinema hall including writing overrrated reviews.
Now this time when Don is biting dus...t and now umrao jaan is released..these guys have started writing negative things falsely about the movie which gives u impression that Umrojaan is unbearable..but they are the same guys who had rated Don like unbearable movie high!
Umraojaan is being appreciated by people most of the places...but i see now the new style of marketting..doing negative media. A thing which is well practiced by some people of industry including Shahrukh Khan and Boney Kapoor.Read More

No one here has logic to say that comparison is unfare and movie should be taken in entirity.
If they wished first they should have at least not taken the title as well as songs from the orignal.
But what they have done...cpied everything without any creative input.
Do you think we Indian have g...one that much foolish that we can digest anything one the name of remakes?
In plain and clear, remakes of any movie sould not be done....people even today watch and enjoy don.
These people just tried to be over smart without doing any smart job and effort.
Making a slick visual does not mean a movie..and those appreciating this are only that section of audience who can see any trash.
if they make remakes of hollywood ther eis no problem as hollywood movies dont reach villages of India and not even cityies of India..but a movie like Don..whose identity not only reached and penetrated every corner of India..but also has bigger identity in it's self in the history of Indian movie as an evergreen entertainer...do you think it's wise to make a remake of such big identity before which even SRK's own identity is smaller? Don't you think even in rural India people know don better than SRK. And this is why this movie is being rejected in major parts of India becuase this movie tried to hijack the image of Don..which unfortunately was much stronger than Farhaan akhtar thought ever.
Those who make remakes must learn people here have lovd them and those classics are part of our life. if they wish to do remake they should change it someway and acknowledge it. But certainly making remakes is a sick man's job who is short of creativity of his own. English or some other languages ka bane to chalta hai but hindi classic and wo bhi evergreen ka remake bana ghalat hi nahi bewakoofi bhi hai..shayad ab taak frhaan kahtar aur shahrukh ji ko ye baat samjh me aa gayi hogi.

first etach shahrukh khan to even learn how to chew pan.
he overacted as don and underacted as vijay.
the khaike paan banaraswala was looking like doing rehearsal for school day.
i pity here are full of liers writign reviews over this crap which is among the worst movies of year.

i think you have not seen the original don of 1980's or 70's.
you are appreciating khaike pan banaraswala of this one which looked like a child doing stage practice of the original....
come on this is hieght of despo fanfareship ...and shahrukh khan just unable to play the comic role of vijay .......
