It was a dream car. I was so excited to finally get my hand on the Superb, after waiting for so long. And initially it lived up to its expectations. It rode smoothly, was full of features, and everything I was expecting it to be. Then reality struck. One day while I was driving the car on the hi...Read more

I was a firm believer in NDTV till a few days ago. I used to love their programming (in fact still the best in business). They, I believe, have the best set of journalists. They have a clear vision of their future. All these reasons made me a almost die hard fan of NDTV channels when it cam to n...Read more

I read this book purely for the hype surrounded Thomas Friedman and his lingo. I saw an interview on NDTV and was intrigued by this New York Times columnist’s use of lingo. He uses terms like globalization 1.0 and globalization 2.0 etc to get your attention. The book is basically from the ...Read more

This book was recommended to me by a good friend. She told me that this was one of the most powerful books she has ever read, and strongly suggested me to read it. At that point I was reading nothing (actually re-reading a PG Wodehouse), so I readily borrowed the copy from her and started readin...Read more

thanks for the encoragement... abt that extra that you wanted abt the book... well i will try to write a review on those line... but seriously i avoided the details because there is serious censorship happenning here on ms... i have read about (with proof) that reviews of such sorts are deleted with...out notice... so it would be a lot better if you just read the book.... but if you really do wish to know... i will send you the essence of it via e mail NikunjRead More

like all politicians Jinnah was an opportunist ... he himself was of a secular mindset but carried out politics of communalism later in his career for his means/... this does not mean that hindu leaders were saints... similar traits were there too... There is no oint demonizing one set and... beatifying another.. as threr are arguements for both sides NikunjRead More

the book is certainly not funny... as you said it is totally based on the communist movement going on during the time... it states how a very good system starts to rot and all the good of the system is eliminated and only the name of the idealogy remains for others to misuse... a very serio...us book with very sad but true parallal occurraaces it also states the truth about all revolutions... the revolutionaries are sidelined by the opportunists almost immediately after the revolution for their own purposes NikunjRead More

1984 is one of the scariest books i have ever read... the scariest part is that it seems all too possible.. and the ending ... the resignation... the loss of enthusiasm and freedom described in the book is so real and deep that i couldnt sleep for the night... today i think there is a slight c...hange from 1948 when the book is written... now there is no goverment that is trying to be totallitarian but there are many companies which may end up like that if not monitored... excellent review NikunjRead More

nice revu... i like fedora too as a desktop OS ... but it contains too many experiment features which are not yet entirely stable... so for a desktop where stability is not totally essential FC# seems fine but for a server i would rather go for a tested RH Enterprise.. nontheless FC3 is a major... improvement wrt the earlier versions.. (FC2 was hell buggy) and i hope they go an like that and we would have a wonderful OS on our hands... NikunjRead More
