Reviewed Casino Royale Movie

Apr 17, 2008 02:50 PM 3452 Views

The Bond books are great. The movies, though more popular than the books, primarily had few themes - semi-naked girls, good west vs. bad east(cold war terminology i.e.), A Bond who can get whatever he wants, just by chasing around in cars. That's all there was to Bond, until "Casino Roayale" wit...Read more

You come home tired from work, and want to simply relax. You are not in the mood for a comedy, but are no fan of mindless violence either. A hostage drama is certainly one of the last things that  you will find refreshing now? Right! Unless the movie happens to be Collateral. It's one of the ...Read more

Reliance are Chors. They have cut off my netconnect, and after lot of complaining, demand about 1800 extra for crossing my limit on an unlimited connection. Check my review. I don't think we can do anything against them, except reassure each other that we are not alone. Relaince has greased the pal...ms of every regulator, and it seems of every law enforcement agency. Try Gandhigiri at reliance, and the rush of incoming customers (new Bakra's) will just join them in laughing you off.Read More

This is the sms, I just received on my netconnect card: 'Dear Reliance Customer your account usage is high. Please pay Rs.1768.9 to continue enjoying uninterrupted services. Thank you.' high usage on an unlimited account. Interesting. And how come, this high usage has been discovered only... after a week of de-activation, and 10s of rounds to the webworld, with the entire reliance mechanism unable to know, why in the whole world has the connection been de-activated. Further, how comes, this sms comes after I write to Mr. Ambani requesting assistance. (Thanks, Mahatma Ambani, you are doing wonders dismanteling Gandhiji's 'Bura Mat Dekho', 'Bura Mat Suno', 'Bura Mat Bolo'. You say,of course - nothing against 'Bura mat karo' :-). And atleast you are following 'Bura mat Suno' - No valid complaint is entertained. And yes, the sms is dated 31st December 2000. Very interesing. Read More

Atleast the forum helps in reassuring that one is not completely alone in a country gone to the worst dogs, thanks to companies like Reliance. I am currently right in the middle of my phd research, which has be put on track by the end of this week (That is the reason, why I had taken that blaste...d card), and am unable to do anything but suffer. At the end of the week, I will go ahead with the court procedure. Or are the courts and the police already in the pocekts of ADA?Read More

Unfortunately, I needed the card in a hurry, and a quick search on the net for a review of this product produced only favorable results (most probably written by reliance cronies). As I have written in my review of the product, after having purchased the card and the subscription, Reliance seems to ...be hellbent on looting me of the last pinch of money and sanity. Its unebelievable, what tricks they resort to just to exploit and harrass you. Can anyone help me by telling me how to apprach the consumer courts, and if it is any use against the corrupt might of reliance.Read More

You are right!!! Getting a connection, or applying for a replacement SIM are next to impossible. Although in most areas, BSNL is better than the private players, its interesting to see that BSNL takes no initiative whatsoever to be aggresively competetive. New schemes are not launched, forms are not... simplified (rather they are made more and more difficult), and urban services (where they are in direct competition with Reliance and Co), are not - so to say - very competitive. Makes one wonder if the private companies have a means of influencing the BSNL top/bottom brass, wherever direct competition from BSNL can become a problem for them. :-) Read More
