Hey Amith, I really envy you, I missed the play, it was completely booked when I went to get the tickets! Hope it runs again soon... Anyways, this was an extremely well-written review on a play with a topic that is so hushed up in our society. Kudos to you!!! I'd known about the play since ...a long time and was taken aback when I heard it has come to India this soon. And then I had to go and miss out on it. Will catch it tho, no doubt about that. Lyla, I'm surpised you havent heard of it, - being in Canada! As for Pavan, I was plain disgusted to read what he wrote. Yes, like someone mentioned, major part of the male population here is like that, sad state of affairs. Loved the fact that there are so many comments to this one, hope many people will watch the play as well. But also noted that no females (indian) have commented. I'm sure they too must've read it! My review on the play probably wont match up to yours, tho I'm waiting to write it once i catch the play :) cheers, looking fwd to reading more such reviews from you.. kavitaRead More

You have a great positive attitude that has seen you through the past couple of years and helped you to heal :) I know very well how much good a positive attitude can do! I agree with Ganesh that your review is an excellent use of this medium. Keep going and hope it cures as best as it can. ... Good luck, KavitaRead More

Sir, I like the way you write on serious issues that concern us all and thus make the best use of MS. Btw, I agree completely that the Indian traditional system of medicine has much to offer in today's world of pill-popping. It is economic and effective. We have a great wealth of health rela...ted information right here in our country. best, Kavita Read More

at Pizza Hut. I too have been at Pizza Hut Bandra and found it sorely lacking. Didn't enjoy the pizzas at all.

with your review.. many more flaws too. For instance, Kajol stayed single for 8 full years?!! Mostly unthinkable in the Indian context, I think. Karan Johar is a cheapo director anyways. (K3G included)

for a review! And extremely well written too. Very informative, reminds me of a story by Somerset Maugham on kite-flying, and how it can be an absolute passion with some :) - kavita

His dosa's are great, he's been featured in newspapers a few times. You forgot his excellent 'sandwich' dosa too :) I need to go try a new dosa, been a long time since I paid him a visit. Noodle dosa is good eh? Good review, keep writing.. - Kavita

hi, Yes, I agree its more of info than a review, that's 'cause I am not a member, just doing voluntary work for them off and on. But in my contact with them - I've attended some seminars - I can see that they are genuinely working towards achieving their noble objectives. Then again, would not inf...ormation on what an NGO does be a major part of any review on them? :) You have brought out a good point reg. legal procedures. Here's some latest info, which I am updating on the website currently: A new association IFAFA (Indian Federation of Adoptive Families' Associations) has been formed in Nov '02. It's major objective is to act as a catalyic link between various agencies / authorities in the field of adoption to bring about necessary policy, legislative and procedural reforms with a view to promote domestic adoption and protect the rights of various stakeholders. So there.. I believe they are also working towards making life simpler for prospective adoptive parents. regards, KavitaRead More

Tho I haven't read many of your others. Excellent points for Mouthshut to implement, esp. reg. the comparisons on products, will be very useful for all. Please try to get your points across to Mouthshut concerned personnel. Also, I am surprised to know that one cannot re-write a review on the ...same topic! (am I understanding this correctly?) Congrats once again KavitaRead More

Sandeep, I am not sure whether something similar exists in Delhi or not, will check and let you know, as of now, NAAF is based in Bombay only. Prem, I agree 100% Mouthshut should seriously consider adding a section on NGOs. Thanks for the kudos, tho I must add I do not do much work for them, j...ust a wee bit. In fact they are looking out for more volunteers to talk to doctors about the organisation. - KavitaRead More

All good points in your review... also the cons.. I had a bad experience just yesterday at the Bata store near my place... *extremely rude salespersons*, they do not bother catering to the customer (me!) and when I am helping myself, they expect me to re-arrange their shoes too! Horrible expe...rience. Tho I agree, shoes are good if you find the design that suits you. - KavitaRead More

Amazingly well written for a first review from you. I'm not into all this beating-up stuff too, but I used to like Roadrash! - long time since I played that too.. Btw, ever heard of GORILLA.bas ? (an old one, but simple and excellent game). Does anyone have this one? It's in QBasic. I am looki...ng for it. Look forward to more reviews from you - KavitaRead More

Thanks Grace! Like you, I came across many others who would like to sponsor (if not adopt) a child at the recently held ChildFest exhibition, where NAAF was given a stall. Just for info, IAPA - that's 'Indian Association for Promotion of Adoption and Child Welfare' - is the agency to contact i...f one is looking to just 'sponsor', not adopt a child. Lyla, thanks for the comment. I agree, NAAF *is* a great idea. Read More

hey Prem, You beat me to writing on this book :) Well, i might still do so.. Once again, a well written review from you, this time esp. 'cause the book itself is so great! I agree with Lyla, each time I read this book, I 'understand' something new.. and am amazed by it each time. - Kavita
