Best actors??. Review on Five Best Actors of Hindi Movies

To me, the best actors are those who have convinced the majority repeatedly and I would like to believe that the majority can be fooled once or twice with a performance.. but not always.. that the lasting impression left on the majority is what makes an actor live.. and that is why an actor who cant be consistent usually is forgotten..

most of the actors who are talented let their talent reward them and then they let it rot...this is one sad thing to note... success has corrupted most actors.. especially actors down south.. people like kamal hassan.. they seem to take a megalomaniac approach to acting now... they tend to go overboard .. case in point is exemplified by abhay.. and such recent attempts..

also not to be spared is Amitabh bachchan and his french beard.. he is so typically predictive.. and an actor as predictive as that is only playing to the gallery.. had he not been doing that he would perhaps have been the best actor from one to ten... before I started to consider someone else..

what would you look for in an actor? consistency? charishma? talent? the films he does? voice and dialogue delivery? screen presence? appearance? sincerity? grace and persona? Look at it any which way.. the top of the list is the man himself.. Amitabh bachchan..

1. Amitabh Bachchan... too many performances to name... the finest would be Agneepath... too proven.. though commercial and played to the gallery, his talent and ability as an actor cannot be questioned. period. (i.e., in my opinion)

   
   




2. Kamal hassan... performances in his earlier films like Nayakan, Swatimuthyam, Saagarasangamam, and so many such unforgettable films.. perhaps the most talented of all Indian actors.

   
   




3. Naseeruddin Shah.. actor par excellence.. excelled in diverse roles.. from jaane bhi do yaaron to drohkaal to mirch masala to the commercial films such as mohra and tridev..

   
   




4. Mammootty.. too many performances... too less appreciation.. vidheyan .. ponthan mada.. too many films of his have been too intelligent for the masses... they however have always acknowledged due credit to the actor.

   
   




5. the void that can be filled by so many.. I would leave it open to be filled by a whole lot of people.. you name it.. Mohan lal? Om Puri? Dilip kumar? Sanjeev kumar? Dharmendra? might as well accept it.. two or three actors from the present lot fit in too... Aamir khan.. Ajay Devgan... manoj bajpai.. (another case of success eclipsing talent)

   
   

The three names that most definitely will appear in any list are the first three.. the fourth and fifth are debatable... so keep going..
