Dear Buddhaji, Gud thing that you made an honest effort at enlightening critics of Deccan Aviation. Here some more for the cry-babies to chew on:
1>
Air Deccan has adopted a ’lean-and-mean’ approach to staffing and aims at maintaining a low aircraft-to-employee ratio-[why do you want to pay ...for half a dozen models to smile at you when you enter tand leave the plane?]
2>
The food is not included on your ticket. You can buy snacks at decent rates while on flight-[why do you hav to pay 5 star rates for lousy food when none of your journeys within the country last for more than 3hrs?]
3>
The ATRs of Air Deccan are charged amost half of the rental at Airports-[guess whom the savings are passed on to?]
4>
Heard of ludicrous rumours on the questionable safety aspects of flying deccan-[for your info, all flights of all airlines are subject to the same safety standards]
5>
The delay in timings-could possibly be linked to point 3> discussed above
6>
To ghet a better hang of this 'concept airline' please read their ad in their flight magazine.

Man, your review has got me all workd up now. Dont you see the director has a very honest intention-he works for the 'upliftment of masses'... the blind thing, the abuse thing and the social worker thing are all the subtle hidden morals one needs to draw from the plot.

High time Mr Pea brained hulk quit acting. Apart from killing endangered animals, running over people and stalking women, was he ever good at anything else at all? Yeech! wonder how some people still worship him.
He could well replace a chimp in the zoo after it dies of old age!

And vidya I suggest you start a chain mail with his article. If Bimal is bad let the world know about it! For all the aspiration, saving, planning and waiting one puts in for a dream car, this is definitely a big big let down! Try taking thi...s problem to a manager at another competent Maruti dealer. Hi Samiksha,
Sad to know you had a disappointing time at Goa. I thought on penning a comment cause Goa during off season is my favorite hang out. A few tips to make sure you (or anyone else) doesn't go through this experience:
1. Look for accomodation only after arriving in Goa-park your family i...n a decent restaurant and you can head out to hunt for a place. It wouldnt take you more than an hour to find a nice place.
2.Rely on instinct, check the bathrooms, observe other guests, chat up with family-type guests if possible.
3. Bargain.Off season is the best time to strike good rates. 30-40% discounts are realistic.
4.Drop names of other hotels/resorts. Dont let them think you're a first timer in Goa.
5.Never book package tours from the hotel. Spend time on places to visit before your actual trip. Goa is tourist friendly. An autorikshaw/taxi can ferry you to most places. High bargain potential here too.
6. Go to places you have decided previously and spend as much time at great locations even at the cost of running short of time for other spots.
7. Avoid eating at beach shacks(if with family)-just being on the beach does not automaticaly qualify the seafood as fresh!
8. Dont throw a temper. Talk smooth.
9. Most ferries are crowded. The music and ambience arent very refined either. But hey, thats a part of the true Goa experience! Just throw your reservations overboard and get into the groove.
10. Take pictures. Lots of them. Trust me, even disappointing moments could make for a laughable moment much later on!
