To be precise, it began 6 years ago-my hunt for Brut. Several dipressing years hence, I am a disillusioned man who has forever lost hopes of acquiring a bottle of authentic Brut spray. I’ve tried the patli-gallis of innumerable smuggled goods market and the posh displays of malls. Only to end up with green bottles filled with liquid smelling like incense-stick by product. Ive even got in a nasty brawl with a smuggled goods peddlar trying to palm off somethin that smells like rabbit piss(trust me it kills, ive had a pet rabbit for some time) for 500 bucks! I broke the bottle in the melee and that was when other peddlars, bystanders and even a cop unanimously agreed on the lethal potency of the Brut(al) spray! Here in Bangalore, none of the malls or renowned perfume stores stock Brut. I’ve tried Topaz on commercial st, Lifesyle, Shoppers Stop, Forum and Garuda Mall and countless shady ‘dubai stores’ in and around MG road and Brigade road. Well wishers and good Samaritans out there please let me know if we can still find genuine Brut spray someplace on Earth, if not in Bangalore. Please.
